Nixie's Point of View

I woke up early in the morning. I should've been in bed at this hour but I couldn't sleep. It was already four o'clock in the morning and I went to the palace's garden. On my stay here this became my favorite place in the palace. It was peaceful here and very relaxing. As I step on the grassy ground the wind touched my skin. It was shivering and cold. The sky is turning to a reddish color because the sun was now rising.

I walked around and saw a ladder on a tree's trunk on the farthest part of the garden. I went up and saw a tree house. The door was little and it has a writing. I bet a child wrote it because of its way of writing.

No one is allowed to enter. Unless you're my cousin!

That was the sentence written on the door by means of a marker. I stopped on staring at the door when a voice talked.

"What are you doing here?" I turned my head to its direction. It was Henrietta Nicols.

"I'm sorry. I'll be leaving." I excused but she stopped me by holding my arms.

"How did you find this tree house?" she asked and I couldn't help but stare.

What should I answer? Should I lie about my discovery of this tree house or not? Henrietta seemed to be in a bad mood. I don't want to make it even badder.

"I just discovered this place and I thought that watching the sun rise from here would be beautiful?" I said like I was asking. She sighed and sat on the wooden floor made around the tree house.

"Do you know that me and my cousin was the only one who liked tree houses?" she said to me. Okay. I was a bit surprised because Henrietta was not the kind of person I was expecting to tell stories to me.

"Liked?" I asked her.

"Before they left the magic world my cousin started to hate all the things she once liked. It was as if she hated everything in this world all of a sudden. She refused playing with me and said words to me and those words are still stabbing my heart." she said and a tear fell from her eye.

My eyes grew bigger after I saw her tear fell. What should I do? Henrietta isn't close with me or anything.

"From all my cousins she's the only one I got close with. I'm not sociable. I hate people. She talked to me once but I just ignored her. Then, the next thing I knew is that she was my best friend." she said emphasizing the last two words or is it just a one word?

"I don't know what her name was. I only call her Shi and she calls me Rita. She changed me. My dark grey world had been painted with colors. She was important to me. She always visit me here. We always play all day long and when night time comes she would go back to Artemis with her Mom. It hurts. Really. I didn't have the chance to ask her the things I want to know. She disappeared in thin air. That is when I went back to my normal self. I hated people again."she continued. "Will you promise me?"

"Yeah. What is it?" I asked her nervously.

"Will you come back?" she asked which made me froze in confusion. Come back from where?

"What?" I asked her and she suddenly stood up.

"Nothing. By the way, if you are done watching the sun rise go back inside the palace." Henrietta said and went down.

I was a bit shocked because of what Henrietta had told me. She told me her saddest moment in life. Who is her cousin? Piolo Kane is a boy and he wouldn't accept someone to call him Shi. Fiona? Fiona is very feminine. She is not the kind of person to go up to trees. I can't think of someone. I decided to shrug a the thoughts off and went inside the palace. I saw them eating their breakfast. I noticed that Henrietta was missing.

"Where have you been, Nixie?" Ms. Farrah asked with a worried voice.

"I went to the garden, Miss Farrah. To the tree house specifically." I told her and sat down next to Serafina.

"Tree house?" Ms. Farrah asked.

"Yeah. The one---" I didn't have the chance to finish what I am going to say because someone interrupted me.

"The one she shouldn't have gone to." It was Henrietta. She changed her clothes. She is wearing a polo crop top partnered with a black pants.

"Henrietta. Where have you been?" Queen Harriet asked her.

"None of your business, Mom." Henrietta said and sat down to the chair next to her father.

"Now, now. Stop arguing in front of the dining table. Just eat silently." King Henry said.

We finished eating and the training started. We went to the grass field in front of the palace. King Paolo created a barrier and everyone is inside except for the adults and me. King Paolo said that they will protect themselves from each other. They are free to use their Art. The worst part is they are free to kill each other. The King assured that they won't die right now, right here because Tyler's mother--- who is the most powerful black witch in the magic world---- is on stand by. The grass field changed into a wild forest. They are not the only one around because there are wild animals and stuffs inside that forest. The King told me that it was just an illusion but punching a tree would hurt you. After minutes of orienting the training started.

"As you can see the forest and stuff inside is transparent to us because only the students and wild animals are the one we can see. Once Farrah sense that one of the lives of the student is in trouble we will stop this training. You are lucky to be exempted for this training. For sure this will be bloody." King Paolo said.

I turned my gaze at the field. Serafina and Lucas is now fighting. Serafina is shielding herself with fire and she is stopping the time. Lucas can't move so he got defeated and he was brought out the field. Fiona and Piolo is fighting each other. Piolo is the serious type so he won and Fiona got bruises and she was unconscious.

Madison and Diane is fighting. Because of Madison's teleportation she defeated Diane. Richie was down because of Tyler. Tyler is fighting Henrietta. Henrietta can't get close to him because he is using some sort of black witch spell to her that is why Henrietta is frozen and she was defeated by Tyler.

Tyler fought Madison and he won. Serafina and Piolo fought and Piolo won. Piolo was powerful than Tyler he won. Piolo used his illusion to make Tyler hurt himself. Piolo became unconscious when he was fought by Gerome and now Gerome and Levi is fighting. I noticed that they have the same Art. They both have the dangerous Art which if not controlled will consume your energy and will kill you.

"Paolo! Stop the game! Danger is approaching them!" Ms. Farrah shouted from afar and King Paolo stopped at what he was doing.

"Stop!" he shouted with full authority. The two of them looked at our direction and they walked towards us.

"What were you doing?!" Ms. Farrah asked in a high voice. She must have been so worried.

"I'm sorry Ms. Kane my emotions took control of my body." Gerome said and looked at Levi.

Levi only smirked at him which prompted Gerome to glare. Now what was that supposed to mean?
