Nixie's Point of View

I'm sitting on my bed and reading books. I'm staying inside my room today because no one will visit me.

Serafina's family came here early because they will attend to some party or something. They bond with each other until lunch time but they left after eating their lunch. Tyler's mother who is Mrs. Trinity Edwards was here inside the academy all the time. I heard that she's currently teaching Tyler the most dangerous spell on the black book which the black witches always bring.

Madison's parents came here at noon. They toured around the Academy and had a picnic on a park near the Academy. I didn't have news about Levi because I don't care of his whereabouts.

Me? As I said no one visited me. It is six o'clock in the evening when someone talked.

"Nixie. Go to Ms. Kane's office. Now"

I tried guessing who it was. It was not Tyler's voice. I knew him well even though I don't show it. Hesitant, I went down the hallway and walked my way to Ms. Farrah's office.

I opened its door and I saw a lady that is standing right in front of the window. She has a hazelnut hair that is tucked into a bun. She is wearing a white long sleeve polo and a pants.

"Nixie." she said and turned around.

My eyes bawled in surprise because of what I saw.

"Mom. What are you doing here? How did you come here?" I asked her and she hugged me.

"It doesn't matter as long as I'm here. How are you my dear little angel?" she asked and I began to question her.

I went out of her embrace and squinted my eyes. I eyed her for a while before stepping away. Yes, my Mom calls me 'honey' or 'dear' but 'my dear little angel'? It is too sweet. I began to panic. I panicked knowing that I'm with a stranger alone.

"Who are you?" I asked her.

She smiled. An evil one.

"You are smart. I shouldn't have underestimated you." she said and her appearance changed.

From her casual clothes her clothes began to change into a violet ball gown and a black cape with a hood.

"Katrina." I mumbled once I recognized her.

"Smart. I'm impressed. How are you? You know I came here to visit you once I knew that the parents of the students can go here. How are you, Nixie dear." she said.

"What do you want?" I asked her on an angry tone.

"What if..... I want you. What will you do? Will you give yourself to me?" she asked.

"Bitch." I mumbled and I pulled the dagger that was in my pocket and threw it to her.

"Ooh....scary" she said and stopped the dagger.

She pointed her hand at me. Dark smoke started to form at her palm.

I panicked. I don't have a freaking Art! What should I do now? Damn! I ran as fast as I can and attacked her with the daggers I got from the sling bag Ms. Farrah gave me. Every time I shoot daggers to her direction the dark smoke keeps on floating around the office. Now the office is filled with dark smoke. I can't breath!

I hold on to my chest. It was like my asthma was attacking me. This is not good. My eyes are surrendering. It was like it is ready to go to sleep. I tried not to shut my eyes but the dark smoke was so powerful its as if it was controlling me. I don't know what happened and the next thing I knew was,

Everything went black.

Ms. Farrah's Point of View

I ran as fast as I can to my office. I sense danger. Shit. I opened my office door and there I saw Katrina. She is standing there while looking at her hand. I roamed my eyesight around the room. My glance caught a girl lying on the floor. I ran towards her. When I flipped her I saw Nixie Summers.

"What were you thinking?" I shouted at her.

"Just a little surprise my dear sister." she said and she vanished in thin air

I hurriedly called Cray and the others. We brought Nixie Summers to Tiffany. We left her inside for about an hour.

"I treated her asthma but I can't cure her at once. She needs to be monitored for three days before she can recover. She was attacked by black magic and her body didn't have much energy to get through the pain. That is the reason why she surrendered." Trinity said and went out of my office.

I fixed my office because it was wrecked by Katrina. I hate her. My office was a big mess.  I wish everything will be fine. I can't afford to lose Nixie.

Serafina's Point of View:

I am here at the mall inside Artemis City. I'm buying some clothes for the Farewell Party. Geez. I only have twenty minutes to fix myself. I wouldn't have much time to check on Nixie if she is ready or not.

I bought a red frill dress. I partnered it with a red pumps. I don't want to tire my feet this evening. I fixed my hair and tucked it into a simple bun and went out my room. I saw Madison on the hallway waiting for me.

She is wearing a black key hole gown. The hole is just small so it is not too revealing. Though her back is on display. She is wearing a black high heels. We walked through the hallway and went to the ballroom hall where everyone is waiting. After minutes of waiting the party started. I keep on roaming my eyes hoping to see Nixie around but she is nowhere to be found.

I was about to ask Ms. Farrah when she stood up. Her eyes bawled and her brows suddenly creased.

"Come with me. All of you!" she quietly shouted at us.

We followed her to her office and she opened the door slightly small enough for us not to peek.

When she ran inside and we heard someone shouting. When we finally entered, there we saw Nixie Summers lying on the floor.

"Help me." Ms. Farrah said and she started pulling Nixie upward.

Everyone was too shocked to follow her orders. We just stood there while looking at Nixie who's lips were starting to turn purplish. What happened here? The office looked like a wreck too.

"I said, help me!" she shouted again and we brought Nixie to Tyler's Mom.

We waited there and then we knew that her body received a dangerous black magic. Nixie was exhausted that time that she can't fight the black magic that is roaming around her body. The result is being unconscious but she will wake up soon.
