Nixie's Point of View
I'm walking my way to the Academy's auditorium together with Elisha. Right after I was discharged, I attended my classes again. I had missed so many trainings and I needed to catch up. We were pulled out from our classes a few minutes ago. They said that we should head to the auditorium for an announcement from the headmaster.
"I'm quite excited to hear the announcement today, Nixie."
"Why would you be excited? It's just an announcement." I pointed out and Elisha smiled at me .
"It's not just an announcement Nixie. Maybe they'll announce today the names of the students that are included in the lineup of those who'll go to Apollo City for the festival week!"
"It's already festival week?" I asked in amusement. Gosh, days passed by so quickly.
"Don't tell me you forgot? Gosh, it's the most looked forward event of the month. The festival week in Apollo City is a go to event. Almost everyone wants to go there."
"What happens in the festival week again?" I asked because my memory seems to be failing me these days.
"On the first night of the festival week, Apollo City holds a grand party for the people in Apollo. But not all are included. Only those elite families can attend. Five years ago, they granted the students' wish to also attend there. However, they set a rule that only a few can go there."
All I could do was nod to what Elisha was saying. I honestly don't know anything about this festival week. I wasn't enthusiastic either like the others.
"The King of Apollo City also visits the other two world to hold a small party. That's where we can freely join."
Elisha then suddenly halted in mumbling things because the stage had lit up with fairy lights. In the stage stood Headmaster Cray and Ms. Farrah. They were wearing such elegant clothes that are often seen in formal meetings. I couldn't help but raise my eyebrows. They were just going to announce something. Why wear super elegant clothes?
"Good morning Artemis Academy." Ms. Farrah started.
Everybody answered her woth a good morning too. On the other hand, I just stayed quiet in my seat trying my best to be patient. I just wish this will end soon. It's more fun in class than to be here.
"Can I hear the Elites?" she shouted again and the elites sang their chant in unison.
My head landed to where the few students from the elites were located. They were so few that you can see them so clearly even from afar. While they were doing their chant, my gaze fell on Levi's back. I couldn't help but think about the tree incident again. Gosh, that was embarassing.
"Where are the Middle class?" Ms. Farrah lifts up the mood again and the Middle class also sang their chant.
From my position, it was really boring. We were located at the far end of the hall that it looked like we weren't even invited.
"How about the outcasts?" Our group shouted our very own chant and even Elisha sang it.
I frowned in annoyance. After being hospitalized, I lost all of my patience. I get annoyed easily. I get mad so quickly. Black magic must have done something wrong with my emotions.
"So, we are all gathered in here for a special announcement. I'll pass on the stage to Headmaster Cray to tell you the announcement."
Miss Farrah walked to Headmaster Cray and handed the microphone to him. The headmaster went to the podium and a paper suddenly appeared in his hands.
