Serafina's Point of View

After doing my routine every morning, I changed into our uniform. Skirts had never been my thing but as an Elite, we were required to wear our full uniform. I satisfied myself in the breakfast hall with foods and quickly ate them before brushing my teeth in my room again. After I was done doing everything, I walked my way to the academy.

Thinking about Nixie, I first headed to the academy hospital where she is. I heard a lot of students from the outcast were hospitalized after an error happened during a class battle in the battlefield. Miss Farrah said Nixie was one of those students so I ought to visit her today.

"She's still unconscious." I said to myself when I saw Nixie on the bed while sleeping peacefully.

She must have been so injured to be still unconscious right now. It was her first day but she already encountered that kind of event. I feel bad for her. She should have been having fun exploring the academy right now. I stayed for a little bit longer before I finally decided to leave.

"You're here early." Tyler greeted when I entered our room.

"I wasn't doing anything and I woke up early today. How about you? You're not always this early."

"I'm in charge with the healing of some students. You heard about the explosion haven't you?"

"Yeah. It's still a mystery for all of us to where that explosion came from. Even Levi couldn't explain what that was." I uttered which made Tyler look at me as if he was going to die today.

"Should we be concerned? I mean, it's a mysterious explosion and it might came from you know..."

Tyler said which made me think too. That mysterious explosion really is something we all should be worried about. You'll never know what it will served for us in the future.

"If the high ranks aren't worried, shouldn't we also be?" I voiced out my opinion and Tyler seemed convinced.

"Right. Let's not worry about that. By the way, I'll get going first. I need to visit the hospital and check the patients."

He suddenly closed the black book he always bring. I had always wanted to take a glimpse on that black book of his but he's just inseparable with it. I concluded that it must be witchery stuffs that I shouldn't know. I gave up on the idea of reading its content long ago.

"Be careful on your way Tyler."

"Yeah, sure."

When Tyler went out, silence occupied the room. It feels stuffy inside this room just by yourself. It's uncomfortable and makes me anxious. I decided to head out for a bit because of the anxiousness I was feeling. I'll head to the hall to get some water. On my way to the hall, two unfamiliar people came to me and asked.

"Do you perhaps know someone named Nixie?" the lady with a hazelnut hair like Nixie's asked.

"Yes, I do. Why are you looking for her?" I queried while staring at them.

For some unknown reason, they looked so familiar. Where did I see them? Do I know them?

"Can you please tell me where she is? We badly needed to see her." the woman pleaded and I bit my lip before answering.

"Yeah, she's in the hospital. I could show you the way." I offered for them. They didn't looked like the locals. I'm afraid they might get lost.

"Really? That would be great young lady." she smiled sweetly and I blinked at her face a few times.

I was about to lead them to the hospital when my wrist glowed again. They both looked at it and I smiled apologetically.

"I'm sorry. There's an emergency, if you'd like I'll lead you quickly to Miss Farrah's office so that you'll know where the hospital is."

"No worries, young lady. Go on and take care of your emergency. We'll be able to handle."

I hesitated but they already walked away. I looked at them from afar before walking my way to the secret room. While walking, I halted. Why are they so annoyingly familiar? I'm sure I have seen them somewhere. With a lot of thoughts running through my mind, I head to the meeting room.

Levi, Madison, and Tyler were already there. As usual, they were in their own worlds. I sat on the single couch and fumbled with my fingers. I suddenly remembered a fave which I found familiar with the two people I bumped with this morning.

"Stop looking at me." I told Tyler when I saw him staring. He gave me his smile and shrugged at me.

"You should share that to us, Serafina." he said and I rolled my eyes. He read my mind again. Very rude.

"I bumped with two people on my little walk this morning. They were looking for Nixie." I started and it somehow caught the attention of Madison, even Levi.

"Why are you thinking so hard about that?" Madison asked and I bit my lip before spouting what I am speculating.

"They looked so similar with some important people I know. I mean, very very important people." I said and Levi suddenly stood up.

"I'm heading out." he said with his usual tone and we couldn't protest with what he wanted.

He left the room and closed the door. Tyler looked at me and Madison went back to her own world again. The atmosphere suddenly turned awkward when Levi left. I sighed in frustration and just gave up the idea of sharing my thoughts. At least I know that Tyler knows what I'm thinking right now.

"Let's go get some fresh air." Tyler suggested and tapped my shoulders as a sign of concern from him.

I smiled at him and we were about to go out when Headmaster Cray entered the room making us stop on our tracks.

"Where are you two going?" he asked and sat on his usual chair before glancing at the room.

Tyler looked at me before going back to his seat. Headmaster is already here so we won't be able to go out now.

"Where's Levi? Didn't I called you all for a meeting?" Headmaster looked for his son and I couldn't help but stare at the door.

I should shrug off my uncanny ideas right now. I should probably listen to what Headmaster has to say for us today. Thinking of something ridiculous won't be good.
