Nixie's Point of View
Days have passed since the day we went to Apollo City, rather it was a week. Almost everyone from the Outcast is asking Elisha and I about the things we did in Apollo. Of course, Elisha was the one who entertained them. By the way, I was transferred in Elisha's room long ago because that room I was staying at for two days was for the Elites. Elisha kept on telling stories about different things right now.
"Nixie! We will be having a quiz in the battlefield. You should change your clothes." Was the first sentence she said which made sense.
Great. Another quiz. I really hate the fact that the quiz for everyone in Artemis Academy is physical battle. They really are out of their minds. What if something goes wrong? It's not like you can do everything with magic. There are times which they need not to rely with their powers.
"Wait, are you gonna wear the same clothes you wore last quiz?" she asked which made me raise an eyebrow.
"Yeah. Is there something wrong with it?" I asked her and she ran to her closet and inspected some black clothes.
"Aha!" she shouted and got a black jacket, a black choker crop top, a ripped jeans and a boots.
"What am I gonna do with that?"
"This is what you are going to wear." she said. I wanted to argue with her but I'm sure that I won't win against her. She is the one who picks out the clothes I should wear usually.
I grabbed the clothes from her hands and got inside the bathroom. After I went out I saw her wearing a black long sleeves partnered with a black jeans and a black vest. Her hair was tucked into a ponytail. She grabbed me and we went to the battlefield.
Then the battle started. Just like the other quizzes it was a killing spree. I don't know if it is considered as killing because you are just 'forced' by your teammates to kill some strangers. Elisha and I are not on the same groups that's why Elisha was sad all through out the battle. I can't blame her. For a month she became my friend in this freaking Academy. The last thing I remember, we won. Elisha got some injuries but there is a black witch and a healer on stand by that is why she got treated before her condition got worse.
We went to the food hall and ate our dinner after that. We were eating just like any other day, when a large boom echoed into the hall. The four famous Elites stood up and I saw how they panicked. It must not be just some students who wants thrill in their lives. Maybe it was dangerous. Danger sounds fun.
I stood up and sneaked out the hall. I followed Headmaster Cray and the others to where they were going. They went to the forest---which is the first time I saw---on the farthest part of the academy. I hid behind a big tree and looked at what they were doing. A lady in black appeared from inside the forest.
She smiled at Ms. Farrah. Her smile gives chills to my spine. It was a devilish grin. She removed the cape that was hiding her face and I got to see her. She was gorgeous minus the heavy eyeliners.
"Katrina, what do you want?" Ms. Farrah asked with authority.
Katrina? I think I heard that name from somewhere. Now where did I heard it? It sounded so oddly familiar to my ears.
"My dear sister, Farrah." she said. They're...they're sisters?!
"I said, what do you want?" Ms. Farrah said emphasizing every word.
"Oh, deary me. I just want to see where my dear niece is." she said.
"You don't have the right to step foot in Artemis."
"I wasn't informed. Oh dear. I wasn't intending to do a surprise horror visit. But it's a pleasure to see you too."
"Leave Katrina. I don't want trouble."
