Nixie's Point of View

I woke up with a head ache. It really hurts like millions of daggers are stabbing it. I opened my eyes and saw darkness. I tried to hold my head to counter the pain but I found my hands tied by a rope. I looked at my feet and it was also tied by a rope.

I felt the cold wind touched my skin. I shivered. Not just because of the cold feeling the wind brought but also because of fear that is invading my system. I roamed my eyes around and my eyes bawled when I saw a familiar face.

"Elisha..." I called her silently.

She looked at me for a brief second and turned her head away. For just a brief second I saw her face. She changed. Her aura change from lively to a whole scary one. She was wearing one of those warrior outfits and she is holding some sort of sword on her hand.

"Ah... the girl has awaken from her sleep. How are you feeling, Nixie Summers?" a female voice asked.

From the darkness in front of me appeared the same person I saw on the Lost City of Medusa when we had our mission. Eleanor. I just looked at her and didn't answered.

"Elisha my dear. Come here." Eleanor ordered Elisha.

So does it mean that Elisha is really a traitor? I can feel the warm water forming in my eyes. Tears are starting to cover my eyes and my sight is getting blurry.

"What is it, Mom?" Elisha asked.

Mom? Elisha's mom is Eleanor? Why didn't I know that?

"Call the others. Call Katrina and tell her to make sure that this little brat won't escape from us." Eleanor said.

"Yes, Mom. I will." with that Elisha vanished.

"How does it feel getting betrayed? It is horrible isn't it?" she asked again.

My breathing got ragged and I stared at Eleanor with full of rage. If only I wasn't tide here I could have attacked her by now and escape.

"Your grand mother was my Mom's best friend. Your grandmother was saved by my Mother from the verge of dying. Because of that your grand mother granted my Mother's wish. To be immortal. My mother, Elena Drift was given the power of immortality. She would only die if she wanted to or she gave it to someone. And the immortal powers was given to me. Her daughter. Your mother, Nestle, was my best friend. But when she was crowned as the Queen of Artemis City she locked us all up into the Lost City of Medusa for a long time. I was thankful that Katrina Kane befriended us. Your auntie, Katrina is a rebel. She left the palace because of certain reasons. She helped us on every plan we make. It was a wish come true for all of us because a Kane was on our side and that would mean that we have someone to open the barrier. And now, I have started my last plan. Soon enough, Elisha will have my powers and will rule the magic world. How sad of you." she said.

What does she mean? Does that mean that my mother was really the missing Queen of Artemis City? And I'm... her daughter?

"Quite a revelation isn't it?" Eleanor asked and she vanished.

So all this time, I am a soon to be Queen?

Ms. Farrah's Point of View

I was quite surprised when Harriet told me that I didn't know everything. And now, she will tell us all that happened.

"Katrina Kane was always on our side" she started.

"What? But she was one of those monsters." I exclaimed.

"Just wait okay? I'll start. Katrina has the ability to see the future. You were not yet born on those times, Farrah. She saw a terrible future to happen and she knew she needed to act. She saw Eleanor leading that terrible event. She left the palace not because she hated your parents but because she will be needing the trust of those Gorgons. She didn't think about the throne that is waiting for her because all this time she was... adopted. Your parents had some trouble on having a baby so they decided to adopt and it was Katrina. Katrina knew everything even thought your parents didn't told her. She knew everything so she moved to make a plan. She made Eleanor believe that everything was going as planned but today will be Eleanor's last strike and if she succeeds everything will fall in the wrong hands. She planned on killing Nixie Summers, the only person that can defeat her. We all know that the Drift family had an immortal powers given by your mother. The only way to prevent the cycle of the immortal power is when the person who has the symbol of the Golden Crest kills the next person in line to have the immortality. That only means that Nixie should kill Elisha Drift. Today everything is planned. Katrina will help Nixie to escape and will let her kill Elisha by her own. And if Nixie refuses she will use her mind control powers. She planned everything and now the only thing we need to do is to go to their lair and kill them all. So how about that?" Harriet said.

So all this time, Katrina Kane who I thought is the traitor is our ally. And she was adopted? I felt tears escaping my eyes because of that I turned around so that no one might see it.

"So, let's move?" Paolo asked.

"Let's move." they said in unison.

Everything happens for a reason, that is what they said. And today everything will happen for a reason. Just wait Eleanor and you'll be digging your own grave.

Nixie's Point of View

I am sitting for hours and all I can see is darkness. No one walks by where I am sitting. I was also crying for hours now. I didn't know that Elisha was one of them. All this time I thought she was my friend. My best friend. My only best friend. I heard footsteps coming to my direction and I saw a stranger holding a tray. A tray of foods.

"Eat up." she said and put the tray on my lap.

"Excuse me." I called to her before she could go. She turned around and raised an eyebrow at me.

"How can I eat?" I asked her.

"Ow! Sorry." she said and she started untying the rope that is on my hands and on my feet.

"Don't you think you are just giving me a way to escape?" I asked her when she had untied the ropes.

"No. I'm sure you can't get out in here. After all I'm the best warrior in here. Happy eating!" she said and waved her hand.

I started eating the food and when I finished, the same girl appeared.

"Hi!" she greeted me and tied the rope again

"I'm sorry if I got to tie you up. Ms. Eleanor will be mad if I won't. By the way, my name is Karina." she said and smiled at me.

I had the chance to check on her face. She was very young. Probably 15-16 years old. She has a tan skin and she has curves too. She was pretty.

"I have to go before they see me talking to you. Bye, Nixie." she cheerfully said and disappeared.

Staying here might be not that boring. I should see that Karina girl more often so that I can have someone with me to kill time.
