Nixie's Point of View

My head aches.

I tried standing up from my bed but my whenever I try my head hurts like hell. I tried remembering what I did to deserve a headache but I can't remember a single thing. I opened my eyes and roamed it around. My brows creased because this room's interior is not like Elisha's room.

My eye sight caught a girl sleeping on the side of my bed. Her arms are spread on the bed and her head is rested on the edge of my bed. I tried to see her face but I can't see it. She was facing the opposite direction to where my upper body was.

She moved a bit and I saw Serafina's face. Okay. Why didn't I recognized her hair in the first place?

"You're awake. How are you feeling?" Serafina asked.

"I think I'm fine but my head hurts a little bit." I told her and rested my head on the pile of pillows on my head.

"I'll call Mrs. Edwards." she said and went outside the room.

After minutes of waiting a beautiful old lady came in. She has a brownish hair that reaches her shoulders.

"Hi. I'm Trinity Edwards, Tyler's Mom. Nice meeting you Nixie." she said and sat beside my bed.

I looked at her. Why was she sitting on my bed? Isn't she supposed to check if I was okay?

"Do you know what a black magic is?" she asked all of a sudden.

"No." I answered.

"Your body was intruded by a black magic made by a high level magician. She used it to trigger your asthma and make you suffer. For now, you need to rest but you will be discharged this afternoon because today is the day that you will go to your dangerous journey." she said and opened the black book she is holding.

She said some words and my headache was gone.

"Nixie. Can you promise me that you'll only tell me the truth?" she asked.

"Yes, I promise." I said even though I don't know her too well.

"Who are your parents?" she asked.

My parents? Why ask about them out of the blue? Tyler's mom is being really weird.

"My parents? My Mom's name is Nestle. She is a Chairman on one of our company. My Dad. He is Nicolai Summers, also a Chairman and a great Dad to me." I said and looked at her.

All of a sudden my nape felt so painful. I've felt this before. So many times. I felt this when we were at Apollo City when I saw a man in the dark. I felt this when I was walking on the hallway of Athena's palace. I felt this when someone told me to go to Ms. Farrah's office.

I've felt this for millions of times.

"Are you okay?" Mrs. Edwards asked.

"My nape is so painful " I told her and she stood up and came near me.

She was standing beside me when the pain vanished.

"I cured it. Don't worry you'll be fine." she said and went out the room.

What was that pain supposed to mean? Do I have a wound in the back part of my neck? I don't think so. I rested my head and drifted off to sleep.

I didn't know how long I slept but when my eyes opened, Elisha was beside me already. She was clutching on the sling bag which Miss Farrah had given me. Right, today was the day.

"Elisha." I called to wake her up. Thankfully she woke up quickly.

"You're awake. Here, you should change your clothes." she told me and handed a black jumpsuit to me.

I was given no chance to ask her because Elisha quickly pushed me to the small bathroom inside the room. Without much thinking, I quickly wore the jumpsuit she gave me. It looked too sexy for me. I hesitantly went out.

"Perfect! Miss Farrah and the others are already waiting, Nixie." she said and removed my shoes before putting on a high heeled boots on my feet.

When she finished dolling me up, she quickly walked with me to the meeting place. Did Miss Farrah ordered her to take me to the meeting place once I wake up? Because she's doing a great job.

"I'll miss you." Elisha said to me when we finally arrived at the academy. She hugged me so tight and I did the same.

"Me too." I replied and smiled at her sweetly.

"No matter what happens you'll always be the Nixie Summers I have known." she said and a tear fell from her eye.

I wiped it and hugged her.

"Looks like you're not expecting me to come back, huh?" I asked her and laughed a bit.

"No! It's not like that. It's just that there's a possibility of you not coming back. Many people from the different cities of the magic world tried to have their journey on the Lost City of Medusa but no one survived. Good luck" she said and hugged me for the last time.

"You're not helping, Elisha." I said and she giggled.

I started to walk to the place where the others are. I was walking on the hallway and some Outcast are bidding farewell and saying good luck to me. I smiled at them. This may be the last time I'll be seeing them. May God guide me through our journey.

Mom, Dad, I love you so much

I said in my mind and tears are starting to fall from my eyes. It was like a running water. Even though it was blurry for my eyesight I saw the others standing there. I wiped the remaining tears before approaching them.

"Good luck my dear students." Headmaster Cray said and hugged us all.

"Have a safe trip. May you accomplish this mission." Queen Harriet said.

King Paolo opened the barrier and a bridge started to form in the air.

"Goodbye." King Paolo said and off we are for our mission.

I really wish that we can succeed in this mission. May luck be with us always.
