Levington's Point of View

I was at one of the table inside the grand hall of Artemis palace. I was drinking my champagne and watching the people dance with the tune played by the band on the stage.I shook the glass on my hand to make the champagne swirl inside. It is really boring inside here.

I lifted my head to look for her. I was expecting to see her around. She is a cheerful and bright girl who I think likes this kind of party. I was hoping to be her first dance tonight but I can't seem to find her. I looked at the west side of the hall and all I can see is the buffet table filled with different kinds of dishes. I looked at the east side and there stood the other buffet table with many foods. I looked at the entrance and saw couples hugging and talking to each other. I looked at the dance floor and saw many students dancing wildly. I looked at the stage and saw the band playing. I looked around again but I can't find her anywhere.

I was beginning to panic and I walked to table where my father is sitting. He was watching the people around.

"Dad." I called to him and he stared at me with bawled eyes.

"You called me what? You called me Dad once again! You haven't called me by that name for millenniums my boy!" he shouted and hugged me.

"Dad, I want to ask where Nixie is." I told him and he lifted an eyebrow at me.

"You got a thing for that girl, huh? About your question, maybe she is just around here and having fun." he said and sat down again. H

"No Dad I can't see her. I've been roaming my eyes around but I can't sense her. My instinct is telling me that there is something wrong. Dad, help me find her." I told him.

"Well ok-----" he didn't finished what he was saying because Ms. Farrah and Diane Von came running towards us

"Cray!" Ms. Farrah called my Dad and she was catching her breathe.

"What happened?" my Dad asked now worried.

"Tell him." Ms. Farrah ordered Diane Von who is also catching her breathe probably from running.

"Minutes ago, our precognition didn't worked. After over one hour or two or three------ I don't really know how long, trying it worked again and the most horrible thing that can happen tonight, happened." she said.

"What are you saying?" Headmaster Cray asked her and put the glass of whiskey on the table.

"I was always on the watch for any problems in this party but for an unknown reason my precognition powers didn't worked. You know that I can sense danger right? Well, yes, I sensed danger approaching but a part of our precognition power didn't worked. I can't see the future. This happened before the party but I thought that I was just exhausted but when I tried using it again hours ago, it didn't work so I panicked. I tried to find what the danger is but without seeing the future I can't know. After hours of finding what is wrong, we had find it out." Ms. Farrah said who had recovered from running.

"What happened?" Dad asked and fixed his blazer, readying for an action.

"Nixie Summers is missing and so as Elisha Drift. They went missing after we had said our speeches. Some students said that they didn't saw where the two was but we found the one who knew where they went." Diane Von said.

Nixie was missing? How come?

"Who knows where to find them?" Dad asked.

"Actually they didn't know the exact location but they can give us direction. Let's go ask Key and Kay Collins. The twins of The Middle Class." Ms. Farrah said and started walking.
