Nixie's Point of View

It was early morning when my sleep was interrupted. Elisha had woken me up to prepare our things for the festival week. It was actually against my will to wake up but Elisha seemed to be panicking. Honestly, I don't understand why she had to wake me up when in fact, we had prepared our things already.

"Do you still have things to pack? I'll help you." I offered when I finished washing up.

"Can you please check if all the things on my list is already inside my luggage? I'll head to the hall to get us some breakfast."

"Okay, sure." Was probably the response I shouldn't have said. Elisha seemed to have packed all of the things inside her closet. I didn't imagine that her luggage would be this big and it has so many things inside of it.

After I finished checking her stuff, she already arrived with our breakfast. It was pancakes with blueberries together with a butter and some maple syrup.

"Here's our breakfast. Thanks for checking it for me Nixie."

"No biggie." I retorted even though I was very tired with what I just did. I'm going to add into my list of not to do, the 'Doing Elisha a favor of checking her luggage'. Never gonna do that again.

"I'll go change my clothes." I announced before entering the bathroom.

I picked a simple beige sleeveless top tucked inside a cuban sand wide pants and a white rubber shoes. Elisha on the other hand wore simple one piece dress that fits her really well.

"This is it!" Elisha said while pulling her luggage.

We were currently walking our way out of the campus premises to where the others are. They told us to meet them by the battlefield. It was the designated meeting place for everyone.

"Nixie! Aren't you excited?"

"Just a little bit. Not like you." I told her and she giggled at what I said.

We went to the end of Artemis City. They call it the point of no return because there is nowhere to go to when you reach that point. But Elisha said that in front of the dead end is Apollo City. Just about 4-5 kilometers away. Serafina brought a red luggage with her and a duffel bag. Tyler brought a black luggage with him. Madison brought a luggage and a backpack. Levi brought a back pack. The Middle class students brought two luggage. Headmaster Cray brought a brown luggage and so as Miss Farrah.

"Nixie! That's what you are going to bring? Are you serious? You're going to bring a single duffel bag with you?" Madison questioned which I replied with a bored, "Yeah."

"Don't worry. We will go shopping in Apollo City. Apollo City has tons of pretty boutiques where you can buy old clothigs worn by our ancestors." Serafina said and Madison smiled.

We held on to each other and when I opened my eyes we were transported to a different city. Wow. The city buildings were inspired by Greek temples. It seems like we had gone on a travel back in time by going here. Most of the people were wearing clothes that were worn by people from the ancient times. It was as if I was watching a movie produced from 1880s. People are walking here and there with their elegant clothes on.

I also noticed the change in the temperature. I suddenly felt cold all of a sudden. So that was why Elisha had worn a jacket even though it was hot in Artemis City. I should've worn one too if I was informed. We went to the city's palace. It was pure majestic that you would be ashamed to step on its clean floor. Some maids showed us our room. Elisha, Serafina, Madison, Kay and I shared one room. The room has five beds, one for each of us. I went to the bed near the window and next to me was Elisha.

"What are you guys doing?" I asked.

"Oh! Sorry, Nixie for not telling you. You were spacing out awhile ago. We will be going to the city tonight. It will be the opening of the festival week and students from other cities are also there. I heard there is a handsome guy from Athena." Serafina mumbled to herself.

I picked my dress and went to the bathroom. I was the last one to dress up actually. When I went out they were all ready to go. Serafina is wearing white top partnered with a checkered skirt, a white boots and her hair was done into a bun. Madison is wearing a beige see through dress, a wedge heels, her blonde hair is done into a single braid and she is wearing a black jacket. Elisha is wearing a turtle neck, a black coat, boots, a black skirt and her hair is just straightened. Kay is wearing a light steel blue dress, white block heels and her hair is done into a twin braid. While I'm wearing a navajo white mesh dress under a blazer. I partnered the outfit with white heels and my hair is done in to a messy bun.

"You look beautiful, Nixie." Serafina commented and I thanked her. I complimented them too.

When we got outside the boys are ready so as Headmaster Cray and Ms. Farrah. They are wearing all sorts of boys attire. Tyler is wearing a denim jacket, a shirt, a jeans and a boots. Key is wearing a long sleeves and a pants. Levi is wearing a white long sleeves beneath a black coat and a black pants. Headmaster Cray is wearing a formal attire and Ms. Farrah is wearing a black dress and a jacket.

We went to the place they call sentro. It was the center of Apollo City. There were many people there and someone caught my attention. He, if he was a he, was looking at us. He is hiding behind a post and was looking at us. His eyes were scary. When I looked at the others they didn't notice him and when I returned my gaze he was gone. I searched for him but he is nowhere to be found.

"Nixie, are you okay?" Serafina asked. I smiled at her and nodded.

Someone went up the stage. He was wearing a royal attire. I think he is the King. Next to him is a beautiful lady. She's the Queen I guess.

"That is King Paolo and Queen Polly." Headmaster Cray said.

"Good evening my dear people of Apollo City!" the King started.

"I would like to call on our guests from the City of War. The city of Athena!" he said and three young people went up the stage with one beautiful but old lady.

"Please welcome, Queen Harriet!" the King said. So,the old lady's name is Harriet huh?

She is wearing a black gown with diamonds decorating it. Her hair was nicely done into a bun and her gold tiara was shimmering.

"Good evening ladies and gentleman. Let me introduce to you the outstanding students of our city. Gerome Walter, Lucas Pendleton and Henrietta Nicols." she said and three people went up the stage.

"From the twin city of Apollo! Artemis Academy!" the King shouted again.

We went up stage and Headmaster Cray introduced us.

"Unfortunately, our sister is gone missing so they don't have a Queen to show us but as a representative. Here is our sister, Farrah Kane." the King said.

Miss Farrah is the sister of the missing Queen? Why didn't they told me anything about that? Miss Farrah delivered her speech and greeted the city a happy festival week. We stayed for a little longer to have a chitchat with the others but we never really did talk with anyone. We just sat in our table and ate silently. Madison and Serafina tried to let me join in their conversation but I wasn't on for a conversation.

After Miss Farrah came back to our table, they decided to go back to the palace. We bid our goodbyes to the King and Queen before going back.
