Chapter 4: Not Bad

We're done recording the song. Niall played the guitar very nicely, and Liam has a very good voice. I look at the boy's on the other side of the window. Justin's smiling like a complete idiot. Zayn looks shocked. Louis looks really excited. Harry looks very serious... Weird. I look over at Niall and he stands up with an impressed look on his face. Liam taps my shoulder, I turn.

"Whoa... Um, Vic you're really good."

"Seriously?" I've only ever heard that from Justin, but I never took it seriously.

"Uh yeah really! Come on, we'll show you." He turns and starts walking to the door to show me the song we just sang. I follow him out of the room, with Niall close behind. Justin runs towards me and hugs me.

"Holy crap, VIC THAT WAS SO...LIKE AWESOME! YOUR VOICE HAS IMPROVED!"

"Uh..." What in the world is he talking about? He lets go of me.

"Hey, Vic... Just listen." Harry says and then presses a button. I listen. When it hits the chorus, I'm shocked. I'm  harmonizing with Liam. Is that seriously me?

"Whoa! That's so amazing!" I say excitedly. I look over at Louis and he winks and laughs.

"Yes, you are." Niall says from in back of me. I turn around and smile at him... Oh my god, Niall Horan just said I was amazing.. Hell Yeah!!

During the night, I watched Justin and the boy's work on their new song. I tried to help when I had some idea's. Honestly, it was so sick! I loved it.

Later on, Niall and I were left alone writing our own song. The other's went to go chat about their own tours, that were starting in a couple of weeks.

"Vic?" Niall looks up from his guitar to me.

"Yeah?" I look at him.

"Is this song we're writtin'.... Mean anythin' special to you?" He looks at me seriously.

"Well of course it means something..." I'm start to from feelings for Niall... and someone e-- he takes my hand and starts holding it.

"He must be a really good guy... He's really lucky to have you." I look deeply into his eye's. He think's I'm talking about someone else.

"Um Niall?"

"Yes love?" He lets go of my hand.

"You know that this song is--" I'm suddenly interrupted by Justin running in to sit on my lap.

"Um..."

"You wanna go out for ice cream? We can go gossip, like we used to!" He says with his imitation of a girl voice and smiles at me.

"OH MY GOD! HELL YEAH! I WANNA GO!" I love to go to that ice cream place at the corner of the street, next to my apartment. We'd used to go all the time. Tell each other everything and anything. Good times.

"Then let's go!" He takes my hand and we're running, heading for the exit. We're almost outside when I stop.

"WAIT!?... Maybe we can ask the boy's to hang with us tomorrow?" I ask and he smiles.

"Yeah, sure... That would be so cool!" I let go of his hand and run back to where Niall was. When I get there, I hear him talking with Louis and Zayn. I'm about to walk in when I hear my name. I decide to hide and listen...

"So... You like Vic huh?" Zayn says.

"Why do you ask?" Niall answers.

"Well... Niall.... It's obvious." Louis points out.

"Ah man! I blew it!" I hear someone sit on the couch.

"Hey look, you never know.... You might see her again... Maybe not... There is plenty of fish in the sea." Zayn says. I hear someone slap someone's arm.

"Right...." Niall says. I decide to run in, I think I heard enough.

"Hey guy's, what are you doing tomorrow?" I say out of breath... Well tried to sound like I am. They look up at me. Louis smiles at me and Niall looks surprised.

"Nothing actually... Why?" Louis smirks.
