Marcus

Marcus sat in his office scanning through paperwork and police reports that he managed to get his hands on. So far, there was nothing that seemed out of the ordinary. He read through reports about teenage vandalism, a few domestic disputes and vehicles reported to be stolen. In his mind Blue Wester was just a simple town.

However, Marcus soon noticed after digging deeper that there were missing documents or blank information that was oddly suspicious. Damon's name appeared in one file but the information led to no where. He discovered early on that all information about town was found with the big boss.

That night Marcus set up a silent raid with Vance along with a few warriors. They planned on going to the town hall and stealing files from the mayors office.

At midnight the pack swiftly ran through the town hiding in the shadows. When they reached their destination, they hid within the trees behind the building. They changed back to their human form and Vance pulled out a device created to hack into computer systems. Since Blue Wester was a simple town, Marcus expected the security to have low standards. Which, as they expected did.

Two warriors went ahead and knocked out two patrolling officers while Vance blacked out the security cameras surrounding the building. The back door took too long to unlock causing Marcus's patience to be tested. So he broke the door handle.

The warrior wolves were positioned to keep a look out while Vance and Marcus entered the building. Marcus headed straight to the mayors office, up the grand stair way and through a corridor.

Entering the room he found the room to be tidy with a desk in the back with a computer and telephone. There were shelves of books and files on either side of the walls and a several couches nearby the door. Marcus sat down on the leather chair to the desk and scavenged through drawers. He scanned through papers and files but found nothing useful.

"Find anything?" Vance asked through mind link.

"Just useless information." Marcus replied.

"It must be hidden somewhere. Check for a safe."

Marcus looked around the room, he looked through the bookshelves and found that on the furtherest side of the room there was an outline of what seemed to be a door hidden behind a book shelf. Marcus pulled out a few books hoping to a be lever and one of the books did trigger the bookshelf to open outwards.

Marcus seemed please with himself, but when he saw that there was a handprint requirement to enter through the steel door his smile faded.

"Vance, come here."

"Yes, sir."

Vance entered the room a few moments later and gawked over the secret door behind the bookshelf.

"Just like a spy movie." Vance smiled. He began scanning possible weaknesses to the locked room but as hard as Vance tried he couldn't crack through without triggering the alarm. Marcus sighed.

"I'm going to break down the door. Get ready for the alarm, just grab anything you think will help." Marcus whispered, Vance nodded.

Marcus took a step back and stood in an attacking position. Using his inhuman strength he kicked the steel door down. As expected an alarm went off.

It was a race against time.

The room was small and had no ventilation, there were stacks of boxes and files. Luckily for them they were labelled with dates and some with code names.

Vance grabbed a two boxes that read 'Rogue one' and 'Rogue two', he made sure that the boxes were sealed as he walked out of the room and opened the window. Down below two of the warriors waited to catch the boxes. Vance quickly threw the boxes down to them, then ran back into the secret room.

Marcus passed more boxes to Vance to pass to the other wolves. His eyes then caught a box that was labelled with 'August 2018' which was when the howl occurred. It was the last box that Marcus grabbed as the two wolves headed out the door and leaped through the window. They collected seven boxes that was placed into two black sleek cars which disappeared into the night.

When the pack arrived back to their territory, the boxes were carried into Marcus's office where Vance and Marcus began to scan through the documents right away. The files were exactly what they looking for. There were profiles of witches that lived in the town. They discovered that only a small family of witches remained at Blue Wester: the 'Raven' family and there was a profile of Tyler and his mother. But no Ezra.

Cynthia and Lincoln's profiles were also discovered, which surprised Marcus. It was rare to find other supernatural beings especially a shifter like Lincoln and a fairy doctor. Vance saw Laura's profile and stared at the word 'hunter', he grimaced and gave the profile to Marcus. He read through it then placed it onto the pile for him to scan through later.

The two then started reading through the mayors accounts of incidents that occurred in the town. 'Rogue one' was dated 'May 07 2014' it had been the mayors third month since election when a small group of rogues attacked the town. Marcus noticed that the people involved in the cases were written down in code.

So when he read the word 'God' he was shocked and became fully immersed in the case file. It discussed about a rogue attack that resulted in only 5 minor casualties. The rogues had no motive other than to feast on a few of the residents. The 'Hunter' and the 'God' had disposed the rogues.

The case of 'Rogue two' was similar however Damon's name was mentioned once along with 'Hunter' and 'God' working together. Marcus read more cases of battles between rogues and witches and between shifters and wolves.

Finally Marcus reached the case of 'August 2018' the most important case. The case began with a rogue attack who had the motive to find the 'God'. To which they succeeded.

The rogue pack of six wolves was much stronger than what any of the team had faced so far. There was a battle between the supernatural team resulting in serious injuries. The Rogue's leader separated and headed towards the Blue West high school, which at the time had a school dance.

The 'God' and 'Wolfsbane' were at the dance but lured the rogue leader into a field on the west side of the forest to protect the other students. A storm brewed and a battle went on between the 'God' and the leader.

'Wolfsbane' used a gun filled with silver bullets to injure the wolf. However, the rogue managed to seriously injure 'Wolfsbane' and forcing the 'God' to change back into its human form.

Once in human form the 'God' was pinned and its collar was ripped off revealing its neck to the rogue. Marcus tensed as he read the next few lines. The rogue created a shallow bite mark onto the 'God' when 'Wolfsbane' shot another bullet towards the rogue. The rogue then left the 'God' to attack 'Wolfsbane'.

The 'God' used special abilities such as electricity from the storm to paralyse the rogue and finishing it off by stabbing large icicle through the heart. Marcus was tense after reading the report. He learnt that the God of life had been trained to use its abilities well. Marcus flipped to the last page of case and saw that there was only three sentences and a page of a death report.

It read:

At 11:51pm Harvey Prewett (Rogue Pack Leader) passed away from puncture in heart.

At 11:56pm Mia Heathe (Wolfsbane) passed away from extensive blood loss.

At 12:00am 'God' began howling.
