**Sorry for the late update. I was stressing over uni finals >.<  But they're finished now. Also on other note my story follows the lore of wolves, witches etc. in a very general way. I'm creating my own conventions of these creatures and not fully following the textbook (just for your understanding). Thankyou for all the votes!! Honestly just write stories as a hobby and didn't really expect much, I only briefly edit my work so my apologies if  my writing sucks. But thankyou for reading!!! Now back to the story.**

Ezra

Ezra saw the car pull up passed a large gate and into a courtyard in front of several cream coloured manors. Eva was the first to get out. Ezra waited until she opened up the door by his side, as soon as she did a stretcher was pulled behind her.

There was what looked like a doctor and a few nurses, helping Laura out of the seat and onto the stretcher. The nurses didn't waste any time in taking Laura to their surgery room, they were already running before Ezra could get out of the car. As they moved away, Ezra wanted to be by Laura's side so kept at pace with them, following them up a small flight of stairs of the main house before getting stopped.

"They're heading into operation, so I can't let you in. Don't worry, I promise that she'll be okay." Eva assured Ezra.

He didn't say anything as he watched Eva follow behind a nurse into the building. He was left on the porch, silently guarding the door. He knew that Laura wasn't going to die because he healed her enough to stop the internal bleeding but he just hoped that there wasn't any permanent damage.

Ezra was too distracted to even notice the stares around him. The pack members who didn't join the fight were stunned at the appearance of a white wolf sitting on the porch. They whispered amongst each other but no one dared to approach him, they could feel his godly aura, it was saying that he shouldn't be disturbed.

An hour passed and Ezra was still rooted in his spot with his gaze never leaving the door. He didn't even care that he too had suffered terrible injuries, his white fur around his side and stomach were drenched in his blood. His body trembled slightly because it was exhausted but none of that meant anything to him right now.

Several cars pulled up and Cain jumped out. He immediately saw Ezra and slowed down when approaching him. He was excited to see him in his true form but the hope in his eyes dimmed when he saw all the blood. He went beside Ezra and kneeled down.

"You're hurt." Cain softly said.

Ezra didn't even turn to look at him.

"I can help you with your injuries."

"......"

"Ezra-"

"Cain." Cain turned to look at Marcus. He shook his head slightly at Cain, although Marcus was overwhelmed at the fact Ezra was in his presence, he understood that right now was not the time to disturb him.

Cain sighed and stood back up. He didn't want to leave Ezra so he just stayed close to watch him. Another presence slowly approached the wolf from behind and Ezra finally turned to look. Damon let out a huff of exhaustion as he walked up the porch stairs. Ezra stood up while his tail wagged in joy.

Damon sat next to Ezra and the wolf immediately rubbed his face into Damon's neck while seeking for comfort. Cain depressingly watched nearby. Damon followed Ezra's head while it scanned his body for injuries. Although he had severe wounds, a member from Cain's pack helped him bandage up and stop the bleeding on their way back to the house. Damon patted his fur understanding his concern. He noticed the blood on Ezra and frowned.
