Chapter 11: Amsterdam

Navin's POV

So here we are in Amsterdam. I decided to have a quality time with her and also to celebrate our first anniversary.

Its very cold here in Amsterdam, but the scenery is amazing. Looking at my girlfriend's smile is one of the best view the moment we arrived in Amsterdam. She really wished that she could come here because she's an avid fan of John Green who wrote The fault in our star.

"WOAAAAH. ANG GANDA NGA DITO NAVIN!!" sobrang lapad naman ng ngiti niya. Thank goodness she liked my surprise for her.

"kunan mo ako ng picture dito Navin!!" sabay abot naman niya ng smartphone. I was about to click botton but someone caught my attention on Jackie's screen.

Thin man, pale skin but behind his thick beard he looks young. I don' t know but somehow I felt that I knew him. Where did I met him?

And a young girl on her late teen or early 20's is following behind him. She also looks....

"Navin?!" nakapamewang na si Jackie. Good thing she called me. Bakit ba ako napatigil? "What?! Nakunan mo na ako ng picture?"

"I--I'm sorry I accidentally switch it to video mode." I said smoothly.

"nge!!! Ano ba naman yan Navin. Tayo nalang dalawa ang mag selfie." agad naman niya hinablot ang cellphone sabay angat dito at napatingin kame sa screen.

I kissed her cheek the moment she click the capture botton.

"waaaa. Corny mo talaga Navin!!" tumawa nalang ako at napatingin sa dalawang tao kanina, pero nawala na pala sila.

Hmm. Dapat hindi na ako nag iisip ng kung ano ano. Dapat hindi ko na pinipilit ang sarili ko na intindihin ang mga bagay na mahirap namang intindihan at dapat hindi nilalaanan ng pansin.

I'm here to find myself...together with this woman beside me. Bakit ko nga siya dinala na winter na winter. I should have brought her during spring.

I'm not the kind of man who decides quickly without thinking. Basta bigla ko lang siya dinala dito. I always ask her opinion when and where to go.

But, I'm glad that she still liked it.

"i love you Jackie." i held her hand while walking beside her. She smiled at me."napano ka? Sweet mo ngayon."

"I'm always sweet." of course, I am! I don't mind if others will think I'm exaggerated showing my feelings to her. I just love her, and I want to show her how Crazy I am for her.

"yeah. But you're extra sweeter this time Navin. It gives me goosebumps. Hehe." sabay kurot niya sa tagiliran ko at sabay pabebe ngiti niya.

"silly."

Dani's POV

We arrived safely in Amsterdam. Nag check in sa hotel at nag decide kame ni Jessy na lumabas para kumain.

"Esfriend?" kanina pa siya tulala at tahimik habang naglalakad.

"oh? Bakit Dani?" really Dani? Wala na yung endearment namin? Wala nga talaga siya sa sarili niya. I gave her my scarft parang nilalamig siya. At mas binaba ang bonnet niya.

"nanigas ba yang utak mo sa lamig? Haha. Sabi ko anong gusto mong kainin?" nakangiting tanong ko sa kanya. Pinipilit ko naman pangitiin siya kahit sobrang hirap. Alam ko naman na si Matthew lang ang tanging gamot dito sa inlababo kong kaibigan.

"ah? Haha. Eh. Kahit saan okay lang naman saken."

"hmmm. I don't know much about Amsterdam but I know this place is amazing. Hindi ko sinasabi na kalimutan mo si Matthew, what I'm trying to say is... Let's discover this place together Jessy. Nakalimutan mo na ba? Kasali kaya ito sa Bff goals natin! Ang mamasyal around the world!" nakalimutan niya na siguro, dahil naging abala na siya simula dumating sa buhay niya si Matt.
