I decided to go next in our little story time session. I explained how after the completion of The Detective Hunt, I returned and gave the progress report of how things went. I didn't realize I had just started a chain of events that would lead to this. The Prototype Killing Game is what I had made. And now Angel and others have launched killing games of their own. Those havent began yet though. After a year or so, a branch of Ultimate Despair had taken up the task of eliminating Azura Raijin. The Ultimate Guardian, for knowing too much about Ultimate Despair. I stopped them. It was around that time where I first met Yin. She had saved me from the man who was going to kill Azura and I. So in the end, I betrayed Ultimate Despair and killed off an entire branch. Of course if I returned they'd execute me or do something worse if I just stepped back into their HQ after all that. So Rin and I stayed put in our own HQ that was our old home when our family was still together. We worked some things from behind the scenes but lived quietly. Until The Tragedy happened. Of course the two of us managed to survive but we couldn't believe this is what Ultimate Despair had planned. It was insane. Ending the world? The past me would of loved something like this. Something more too. But I had changed. I didn't lust over the feeling of dread and despair anymore. I lusted for love. For Azu. Then the first killing game had begun. Azura was a participant along with his classmates. I was relieved he survived. Of course he did! He's Azura! After the first killing game, Rin and I moved out. We needed to migrate to a safer area. The other towns and cities were turning to wastelands and death was around every corner. Welcome to Shitai City. It was dangerous but we could handle it. This city you prove how tough you are. The more you're feared, the more the inhabitants won't mess with you. We fit right in. As long as you could prove your worth in this city of crime made for criminals making their way in the new world, you could manage. Then the Followers of Despair appeared. All out war broke out between the average normal criminals and the Followers. One day, the city became abandoned. It was like everyone dissapeared. Every now and then you'd see some Followers of Despair but that was it.

And then it came.

A helicopter above this city of Despair.

Future.

Azura Raijin was here to finish what we had started years ago. And here we were. The Ultimate Guardian and Ultimate Seductress, reunited to take down a common enemy. Who would of guessed that we'd forge a bond and unite?

I'm still not sure what it was that made me want him. His charm? The way he speaks? His talent? The way he stood up against me? His past? I think it may of been everything about him. I've seen many of men fall for me because of my looks. It's how I obtained my talent. I used them to get whatever I want. Azura though, he was the one man who didn't care about my looks. He was genuinely concerned for me when he was trapped in the game by us. Then he showed an emotion no other man had shown to me before. Hatred. Burning desire of hate. A man had never looked at me that way. It excited me. A boy that wasnt fooled by my pretty exterior. He saw past my beauty and saw the evil I had within.

Who would of guessed just knowing him would change that evil I had within into something useful. No longer evil. Lust. Despair was no longer what I longed for. What I lusted for. It was him.

I know I have competition. I did watch the game after all.

Layne Alvarez.

The Ultimate Lawyer. The one who finally busted open the final trial without the help of Azura. Her body could almost compete with mine. If only she didn't have those gigantic-

...

Anyways.

Atsuki Kinboshi

The Ultimate Vocalist. The light of the group. Sometimes literally. She could be used as a human glowstick with those shoes of hers. She kept everyone on their toes and a smile on their faces with her bubbly attitude. So innocent yet so scandalous. I think we'd get along very well to be honest. I mean you can't spell Atsuki without me~

"Uh... Earth to Suki?" Azura shakes me a bit "You kinda just stopped talking after you got to the part where I arrived. You just were spacing out." He blinks at me "Lost in thought perhaps?" He smiles.

My heart beats hard in my chest. That smile. Too sweet. I quickly nod.

"Wanna go next Yashiro? How'd you end up here?" Azura smiles

"Well it's a long one. A crazy thing happened to me when I was trying to get back to Japan. It happened in Europe right-" Yashiro began speaking but I wasn't listening.

Azura had taken my gaze once again.

His smile.

If he didn't say he didn't give a damn about either side, I'd say that smile was filled with hope.

That may be another thing that catches me. His rebellious side. He didn't follow me down the road of despair. He didn't preach the path of hope.

He decided to carve his own way. To the Future. To a new dawn in the dark world that we have adapted to.

He didn't give in when he was the young boy tortured by his father.

He didn't stand around inside the school of killing.

He didn't hold back against the ones he used to call friends.

He doesn't give in easily. He didn't give in when the truth was revealed that I was a killer. And that Rin was a killer too.

He fought.

And now I'm fighting with him.

To the future.
