Chapter 13: Veritas (Lust)

I stood their horrified for a moment before I realized what had happened...

He wasn't human.

"You're... a robot?" I drop the gun and back up a bit

Shiro smiles "Not just me. Burraku as well." He outstretches his arms "We were named after our creator, the Mastermind." He smiles wide

"If youre named after your creator... his name is Shiro Burraku then?" I start connecting the pieces together.

"No no no! Not he. She. A woman." Shiro corrects me

"So... this woman... created you and Burraku?" I ask once more

"Well not just me and Burraku." He crosses his arms "Do you remember two certain bears from the very beginning?"

"Are you talking about... Yinkuma and Yangkuma? What about them?" I ask, a bit confused and curious.

"Well. It wasn't coincidence that they were chosen first to be hunted. I lied a tiny bit when saying our Master created the two bears. She had help from one Mr. Arvo Krueger. You see... when building the two, he had modified them a bit without her knowledge. He had them working as spies so he knew what we were doing and to keep a close eye on the strongest people they could find and kill them in case they got in his way. Once our Master realized this she didn't worry. We could easily control them as you witnessed by how you got gassed." He explains "Basically, we simply got rid of them since Arvo messed with their programming. If he hadn't they would of simply kept an eye on the participants, possibly befriend some of you and kill you once your backs were turned simply." He stretches his arms

"Now then... no more talk. I believe we were in the middle of something before you tried to cheat." He pointed to the bullet hole in his head that had some tiny sparks shooting inside of it.

The next thing I knew, pain exploded in my gut and I went soaring through the air before colliding with the wall. Without a second passing my gut burned in pain again but now with a knee while I was still on the wall. Shiro throws me across the room again and I bounce off the floor a few times before coming to the stop and coughing up some blood. He wasn't this strong a moment ago. Was he concealing his true strength? Was he going all out now that him being a robot was in the light now?

"You know... my Master made me much much stronger than Burraku. All because I had her first name. She felt like the twin that shared her name should be as almost as strong as her. It's a bit funny though because even though they built me to be strong... she's so much stronger than I." He grins and his eye twitches.

She is stronger than all the pain I just had felt?! Would Azura be able to even beat her?!

Azura...

That's right! Get your shit together you dumb slut! You need to fight and win!

I pick myself up and wipe my mouth "I thought... you said... no more talk!" I grin back at him.

He laughs loudly before charging.

Azura... I'm no longer holding back anything anymore!

He throws a kick and I hit back with my own as our legs clash in the air. We both had wide grins on our faces.

"Yes! This is what I wanted to see! Show me the Suki Yukisura from long ago! The killer deep inside of you!"

"You're mistaken! I am not that Suki! I am a new me! One thst fights not for Despair or lust but for a wonderful future!"

We jump back and charge at each other once more and I throw a punch but he ducks and elbows me in my stomach before kicking my knee making me fall down onto my other knee. He does a roundhouse kick to my temple and I was on the other side of the chamber in the blink of an eye.

"This is your end!" I hear Shiro yell before I head something crash down.

"Hellllllloooooo ladies and gentleman! The future just got a bit more secured!" A familiar voice boomed inside the chamber.

"Good thing you discover those vents... Who knows if Suki could win against a super powered robot... I can't believe I didnt notice I wasn't drenched in blood from mutilating the other one..." Another familiar voice said. I opened my eyes to see Yin and Yashiro had appeared.

"Oi! Azu's Number 1 Fangirl! Get up!" Yashiro grins at me and I pick myself up, wobbling over to them. The odds have turned.

"What...? Burraku...?" He seemed shocked but soon his expression calmed before twisting into a smile "So... this is the despair humans feel when losing a sibling? They say it's impossible for machines to feel anything but... I feel so despairingly wonderful! My brother! Mutilated!! How grand!!!" Shiro screamed to the ceiling before grinning at us "Come! I will take on all 3 of you at once! Just try and kill me too!"

He had lost it. If he had anything to lose. He didnt exactly have a mental state. We all charged, Yin going left, Yashiro going right, and I went down the middle. Yin went for a high kick but Shiro guarded with his arms. This left the opening for Yashiro to throw his knives into Shiro's side which he flinched. He could still feel pain it seems. This loosened up his guard so Yin did a leg sweep before quickly kicking him up into the air.

"This combo is brought to you by Branch 0! Enjoy your trip down!" Yashiro grins as he was suddenly above Shiro and kicked him back down into the ground where he landed his feet into Shiro's chest as he landed, making it cave in.

Shiro was struggling just to get up.

"Suki. It's all yours." Yin nods to me and I nod back. I took a running start before jumping and swinging my leg as Shiro got onto one knee.

His head became a baseball and my leg was the bat. I would of gotten a home run if the room wasnt concealed. Shiro's head collided with the ceiling before it started falling. I began running and as it was about 3 feet from smashing into the floor I jumped and kicked it hard into the wall, making the robot head shatter into pieces.

Shiro Kibo was dead.
