Chapter 9: Change (Future)

I hold my breath slightly as I keep my head under the water as I wash my hair with the special shampoo that is supposed to get rid of hair dye.

Hopefully.

I needed to take a good shower anyways. I smelt like shit that was sitting in a dumpster for a month and then set on fire. And also covered in blood. Can't forget that part.

Disgusting.

After I was done cleaning up I took a look at myself in the mirror.

Yup. That's me. Scars adorned my chest and shoulders. I didn't need to look to know my back had them too. Had them ever since I was a lad. I knew every little detail about my damaged body.

Then again so did 2 girls that I could never forget... I hope they're okay...

I sigh and look at my head.

My hair was no longer white. Thank god. I may look pretty nice with white hair but if it was to symbolize that bitch, then I want no part of it. I'll take my brown locks thank you very much...

There was one thing I couldn't do though... the elephant in the room.

My eye.

My red right eye.

There was nothing I could do about this one. How am I going to explain this to everyone back at HQ?

I sigh and continue staring at it. My vision didn't seem to be damaged or anything weird... just... it was red now insted of brown. I gotta give it to Arvo... He was one hell of a doctor.

And hell can have him.

I dry up and get dressed before going downstairs where I was met with Ares.

"I know you just got back up but... I wanna check something." Ares says to me in his usual serious voice

"When you were Azura Kiyo... Your skills-" He suddenly lunged at me.

I had already dodged. It was like I was already a step ahead

"-were enhanced." I finish his sentence with a small smirk.

He was right though.

My instincts and skills... I could sense it myself.

Arvo had definitely fucked with me just like... just like my father did.

"...Do you think he completed it?" Ares asks as he relaxes.

"It's possible... what I did as Azura Kiyo was the completed version of the Ultimate Killing Machine." I sigh and look down.

Even with my head down and not looking at him it was like I could feel the air move as I dodge an attack from Ares without even looking up or in his direction.

"It's..." Ares begins but was at a loss for words "...the only word to describe it is not human."

I just give a small smile "That's what makes it Ultimate, gramps." I pat his shoulder gently and continue on my way to the refrigerator that was set up behind the counter. I grab a water and drink it down. I look at the trashcan from across the room

"...Hm..."

...Let's try it.

I line up my shot and throw the water bottle across the room. My eyes light up a bit seeing that it was gonna go in...!

"FUCKING DENIED!" Yashiro yells as he runs by and smacks it to the floor.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" My heart shatters and I fall to my knees

"Get destroyed." Yashiro grins proudly and crosses his arms "Don't think just because youre a little god now that I'm not gonna fuck with you."

"...You're planning to fuck with me? Didn't know you swung that way Mr. Lady Killer." I look up at him with a smirk as I stand up

"Maybe I should change my eye color too. Maybe some ladies are into it." Yashiro says with a laugh.

"Hey. That's a bit too far. I'm not offended just... this is me now." I sigh softly and close my right eye as I put my fingers to it gently "...I have no idea what the others will think..."

"You dont need to tell them... Honestly it may be better to just stay silent about this whole thing. You're THE man of Future Foundation. If they hear about their top boy being tortured they may think you're mentally unstable... plus having a single red eye isn't a good sign. Angel, Monokuma's, you get the point." Yashiro explains

He's right. If the others learn about what happened... I know for a fact that Layne and Atsuki would never leave me out of their sights ever again. It'd be like that one time where Atsuki- actually... may not want to talk about that...

I shiver.

"You... alright? You looked like you were remembering something that made you feel fear or so-" Yahsiro started

"Im fine!" I quickly say and shake my head "...Anyways... Where's Suki? Im surprised she hasn't come to see me yet." I look around "I swear I heard her peeking into the bathroom door but she kinda just fucked off?" I scratch the back of my head.

"Suki? Im pretty sure she went with Yin to the other bathroom with the showers." Yashiro says and slowly a smile curls onto his face.

"...Yashiro no. We're not goi-" I began but get cut off by Yashiro shaking me violently

"Azura! Suki and Yin in the showers! This is the perfect opportunity to see them!" He grins and continues shaking me "Come on! Let's go!" Yashiro rushes off.

I follow, wobbling and trying not to fall over.

Well Suki may not hurt me but Yin...

She'll murder us.

"This... This is the sun, my boy." Yashiro whispers as we were crouched by the bathroom door.

"Why am I doing this with you? If I wanted to see a naked girl I have two in my phone gall-" I began

"But this. This is Suki Yukisura and Yin Raijin!" Yashiro exclaims quietly.

"You're going to die." I sigh and shake my head.

"Come on." Yashiro smiles sweetly.

"What's the worst that coul-" And then Yahsiro went flying from the force of the door smacking him in the face
