"Are you sure this will even work?" I sigh and cross my arms "What does that name even mean? Hope Restoration? How do you plan to restore their hope? For all we know this could end terribly." I look at Kanye with an arched eyebrow. He had came to me for permission to take the captured Remnants and attempt to return them to normal.
"Just trust me with this!" He grins and gives a thumbs up "As Ultimate Hope I know I can restore their hope!"
I sigh once more "As optimistic as always... okay Mr. Scarf but if this fails or something bad happens it's on you." I give in "With you begging for permission for the Project on top of Jack wanting a damn attack helicopter I needed to give in to one of you." I begin walking off before accidentally bumping into someone. Luckily they weren't carrying anything so no mess was made.
"Oh. Sorry, Shadow." We exchange a quick glance before he responds
"Do not worry, Azura Raijin! For it was only an accident!" He exclaims and nods before walking to Kanye and I set off to my office.
"I'm gonna need to send some people to make sure it goes smooth... I'd do it myself but..."

"Wake up." The voice of Ares rang me awake with a smack to the face.
"Uh... fucking ow?" I groan as I sit up and rub my face
"The gates opened up. We're holding a meeting to go over our plan of action." Ares tells me before turning and leaving my room.
Everyone was waiting downstairs for me and I take my seat "So... We're going after them. What to expect is pretty simple. Monokuma's and probably Followers. I think we can assume there will be a lot of enemies so we should prepare for that."
Ares surprisingly was talkative today. "I did some looking around while you all slept. It seems they're base is the giant tower in the core of the city."
"Wait really?!" Yashiro grins "Oh that's real good..." He nods "We can restock and get some upgrades in weapons there."
"What do you mean?" Sena tilts her head
"Theyve got a nice armory in there. That tower was built before the city was overrunned by criminals and thugs. It was meant to be a defense tower for survivors to live in so it's well stocked with food, beds, and more importantly, weapons. I know all this because one of the people that use to live in this hellhole worked on it. That man may or may not be dead now. Not sure." He shrugs.
"So I assume you want to infiltrate, stop by the armory and then make the final push to the Mastermind?" Yin says
"Bingo!" Yashiro grins
"I will admit the armory sounds nice... if they have guns that'll make this a lot easier." I smile
"Guns huh..." Rin softly says
"Do you know how to use a gun, Rin?" Alice blinks at the child
"Yeah... She does. She hasn't used one since we changed our ways though." Suki looks at Rin sadly "I'm gonna have a talk with her later about something." She sighs.
I decided not to push that subject. It seemed like a thing that should stay between the two sisters. "Alright. Let's head out at night. We can sneak around easily then. Get ready or do whatever. We leave at... 11? 11 sounds good. You got plenty of hours to get ready."
Everyone heads out except for one.
"Ares? What's the matter?" He approached me and grabbed my wrist
"Open your hand." He says
I didn't want to anger him so I did as he said. Then he put something in my hand. Fabric? I open my hand
"Huh?" I blink. It was a eyepatch. A white eyepatch.
"Just in case you want to cover it up until you get a new one. I know you said you'll have an eyepatch be custom made for you back at your HQ so I decided to search for a temporary one for you." He turned with his arms crossed and walked off.
"Ares..." I smile softly.
Heh. I guess he really is a nice guy despite his outer look.

"Az~u~ra~!" Atsuki says as she jumps onto my back.
"GAH! Don't suddenly just jump on me when I'm cooking!" I sigh softly.
It was the end of another long day for the Future Foundation. I decided to be kind to Layne and Atsuki and make supper. It was ramen but I was pretty damn good at it. It was my favorite meal. Except that instant crap. I can eat cup noodles as a back up but when the opportunity is there, I make ramen.
"Do you want me to not make you supper?" I give a bit of a glare at Atsuki
"Please do. I'm hungry..." She looks at me with pleading eyes
"No fooling around in the kitchen then, Vocaloid." I poke her forehead as she gives a cute pout
"My voice is better than some computer program!" She continues to pout and I give off a small laugh
"Are you teasing Atsuki again?" Layne peeked her head into the kitchen.
"He's bullying me!" Atsuki cries out
"Am not." I shrug. "I'm just making supper."
"Azura?" I could feel her eyes on me.
"Yes that is I." I smirk as I respond
"Unless you want Atsuki to start teasing you then I suggest stopping~" Layne speaks softly as she walks off "And you know what kind of teasing Atsuki does..." She says from a distance.
"...Az~u~r-" Atsuki begins before I cut her off
"Do anything and you dont get to snuggle Layne for a week."

I look at myself in the mirror.
It was a bit odd but I'd get used to it. Only having half of my vision. My red eye was covered now. I'm just glad my entire eye isn't red. That'd look gross like a blood vessel broke in my eye. From brown to red, huh...
Fucking Arvo.
Trying to make me look like Angel...
I still remember when I first saw her. It was during the killing game inside Hope's Peak during our second investigation.
The witch.
She was the cause of everything.
Or so we thought. She was just one of the giant gears in the machine.
Who started this? Is the Mastermind just another pawn of the True Ultimate Despair like Angel was? Or is it possible that this Mastermind is the True Ultimate Despair?
I look at my reflection in the mirror again.
Once the clock strikes 11 pm we go out.
We will head into battle.
Layne... Atsuki...
I'm going to win this war and return to you.
That's my promise.
For our Future.
