Chapter 9: Change (Lust)

A few days had passed since the death of Arvo Krueger. As promised, the gates of Shitai City were opened except for the exits obviously. We would try to escape via climbing the walls keeping us in but we'd get overwhelmed by Monokuma's. Besides... Azura wasn't leaving. He had assigned himself a mission.

He was going to defeat our kidnapper.

"So... where do we even know where they are?" Alice asks.

We were at the bar counter, our usual meeting spot.

"Well... I think we'd be able to find out if they're in Shitai or not if we find those twins again." Rin speaks up.

My little sister was really smart when it came to problem solving... she would of done great in school...

"I don't think we need to find the twins." Azura speaks up "If... If it's like all the other games Ultimate Despair loves to play then I think they would of trapped themselves inside with us. I've witnessed multiple Killing Games already..." Azura sighs and his hands ball up into fists.

As leader of Future Foundation he must of seen all those killing games... There had been numerous killing games after Azura's. The Masterminds came out victorious...

"Uhm... Azu? I've been wondering..." I ask softly "Did Future Foundation...?" I began

"Capture the Masterminds?" He tilts his head and I nod. He sighs and looks down "Yeah we did... We have a plan for them... One of our friends that you may have remembered seeing came up with the idea. He hopes to turn them back to the way they were before they were influenced by Despair." He shakes his head "Hope huh..." I hear him mumble softly.

"Kanye Nakahara, right?" I ask and get another nod in reply.

"Those three are so different from people like me and Chouko." He smiles a bit "Probably because of Kanye. Shadow and Waffle are so hopeful. Layne and Atsuki think they're a positive influence on us. Especially for Chouko. He's gotten a little better after what happened. He was even determined to end Angel's plans since it was her fault Roy ended his life..." He smiles sadly. "Kid finally stopped saying 'I guess' as well. It's always 'I will' now. He's changed a lot. Grew up a bit." He looks up at the ceiling. It looked like he was just lost in thought and his words just kept coming "Jack keeps trying to beat me in fights whenever he can. He works under me believe it or not. He's definetly improved in battle but still can't beat me in a fight." He chuckles softly before his eyes widen "Oh! I got really off track... My bad." He blushes incredibly red. "P-Please continue... so about the Mastermind they're probably in Shitai with us." He clears his throat and crosses his arms.

Alice and Sena giggle softly "Yeah." Sena nods

"I think they'd probably be in the heart of the city. They're watching us right? Well the middle has a communication tower. They've probably made base in that place. I remember seeing a room filled with monitors a long time ago in there." Yin speaks up

"Once we're all ready we'll attack then." Ares stands up "We're not ready yet though. Yin, Alice. You two need to work more on your skills. Sena, I think you'd teach them. Azura seems to be already fully prepared but I'm gonna continue to spar with him. Yashiro you'll be joining us." Ares looks around at us. "Suki... You might as well join the other girls in training... and for Rin..." He thinks. "...I'm not sure what a child like you should honestly do..." He mumbles to himself softly

"Rin, feel free to watch us." I smile sweetly

She nods "I'm sorry I can't do much..." She sighs

"It's a bit scary... back in The Detective Hunt you did some pretty messed up shit..." Yashiro sighs "You're a scary kid when you have the upper hand."
