My eyes slowly opened and I was looking straight up at the ceiling. I blink and was silent before I realized I was awake. I go to sit up before realizing Suki's head was resting on my chest. She was sitting next to my bedside and was resting her head on my chest as a pillow. "Should I wake her...?" I ask myself before laying myself back down deciding to just let her have this moment with a small sigh. From what I could remember we had won our battle against Shiro.
She was dead now. It was a bit weird. Finishing these battles were always a bit weird. We grow used to these situations after being stuck for days. Just like when I was in the Killing Game. I had gotten used to waking up in my room at Hope's Peak. The schedule went the same. Wake up, meet with Layne and Atsuki and everyone else in the cafeteria and go with our lives unless someone was killed over the night. It was always at night. I should of volunteered to monitor the halls during nighttime. I could go days without sleep. I might of been able to prevent some deaths.
That's all in the past now though. There's nothing I can do about it now. I was able to save some of us at least. I wouldn't let Layne die especially. I moved on my own during her execution. I threw caution to the wind and jumped into the danger knowing full well Mr. Upupu Bear would get mad. It's so nice being able to massacre a bunch of those stupid bears after having to deal with the one fucking with us in Hope's Peak. Roy must of been happy to finally shut him up.
"Ngh..." Suki lifted her head and looked at me with half open eyes before they widen "Azu!" She hugged me "You finally woke up!"
"Finally? Was I...?" I began
"Yes! 2 days to be exact. Almost 3... I was getting worried." Suki pouts and finally lets go of me.
"Sorry. I had a rough battle." I smile and rub the back of my head. I just then noticed my entire torso was wrapped up like my arms "Why am I almost a mummy?"
"Well... you were really scratched and bruised up. We had to bandage you up. Your mother did your bangades." She explains.
"Great. Now my arms and torso need to be wrapped up for awhile." I sigh.
"Well... Why do you wrap up your arms still? I thought you finally accepted yourself." Suki tilts her head "Everyone has seen them."
"It's become part of my daily activities to just do them when getting ready... but I just do. It's who I am I guess." I shrug and laugh softly "Plus... it looks cool don't you think? I have a few techniques I do with them! Once my wounds heal though I am not wrapping my torso everyday. Screw that." I shake my head and slowly get out of bed. We head downstairs and meet with everyone.
"Ah! Big bro is up!" Rin says with a shine in her eyes
"Az!" Yashiro grins and gives a thumbs up
"About time." Ares smiles a bit but nods
"We found this." Yin points her thumb to a laptop on the table they were sitting by. "It can connect to the outside. It was in the rubble of the tower you pratically destroyed in your battle. It was in a sturdy case. Took a day to get the thing open."
"Good job guys." I smile and open the laptop. "I can definitely connect to Future Foundation with this..." I nod and begin connecting in.
It took a few minutes but finally I manage to connect in
"H....He...Hello? Hel....Hello?" We were getting static but the connection finally got stable and the screen cleared up. "Hello? This is Waffle Ecknalgio from Future Foundation! Director of Branch 6! Who is this?"
"Azura Raijin. Branch 1 Director." I smile seeing a familiar face.
"Azura?! Is that really you?!" I could see her eyes light up "We thought you were M.I.A! Layne has been going insane!" She sighs "I wish I could tell her you've contacted..." She sighs again.
"Why can't you?" I ask a bit concerned
"...Oh! Don't worry! She went with Kanye to get the Remnants... Well what's left of them..." She looks away a bit nervously.
"...What happened." I close my eyes. Kanye. You're in a load of trouble now...
"They started their own killing game and there's only two Remnants left..." She said knowing full well I was very mad. "Zoey Ono and Malachi Matsuda are the only Remnants left. Atsuki and Ren are safe and unharmed. They are on their way back to HQ, Sir." She quickly adds
I sit back and sigh "...So Nao Shiki is...?" I open my eyes again
She nods slowly
Nao... I'm sorry.
"...Alright. I need a chopper to come pick me up. My coordinates are..."

The call ended and I closed the laptop.
"Was that the Ultimate Princess or whatever?" Sena tilts her head and I nod "Yeah. I told you they joined after we saved them." I cross my arms "...So since we will be leaving I need to say a few words..." I sigh.
"We're gonna need to split once we're out." Suki was about to speak up but I hold a hand up to silence her "Let me finish. I know. You don't want to. I don't want to either. But I need to do my duties at HQ. And you guys need to be working secretly, helping out the Future Foundation. Which leads me to Branch 0. I'll be bringing you guys to a Future Foundation HQ that we abandoned but is still in working order. That will be your base. I will contact you guys from time to time so we won't be too split apart. If there ever is a time I don't call you guys in a few days with no notice from me saying I won't be able to contact you guys, break protocol and try to get to me. That will be the ONLY time you guys are allowed to reveal yourselves to Future Foundation." They all nod
"Alright... the next part..." I go over it in my head before nodding "So I will be your leader obviously. If I need you guys to do a mission I'll hit you guys up but... Suki. You will be in charge when I'm not barking orders. Yin, you're Suki's right hand woman or 2nd in charge in this case. Everyone else besides Alice and Rin will be getting roles and jobs based on Suki and Yin's orders. Mother, you'll be working as the one making sure everyone is healthy and cared for. I know you can battle but I know you like being a caretaker than a soldier." I smile and she smiles back before nodding. I knew her well. She was my mother after all. "And Rin. You're a kid obviously, no offense. But you're skilled with computers despite being the little sister of the Ultimate Seductress. You'll be the tech expert. I have high expectations."
"I'm only a kid! Don't have such high hopes, Big bro!" She pouts
"Oi. You almost killed me. I never forgot that. Think of this as payback." I laugh and smile.
"Meanie... Sena! Big bro is being mean..." She pouts
"Hey! Don't use your cuteness to get Mistress to do what you want!" I point at her, not wanting to feel Sena's wrath.
A few hours would pass before the heli arrived. We had got what we wanted to take with us and boarded. I had a new eyepath on. A full black eyepatch with the symbol of FF on it. I looked out the chopper and saw the city under us.
We were free.
