Chapter Five
Welcome to Hell
Sunday went by quickly and thankfully Charlie hadn’t brought up anything about our conversation. The boys and I still kept to ourselves apart from a few snide comments from Ash and Tristan.
So now I was standing staring at myself in the full length mirror in my new school uniform. The high wasted pleated plaid skirt reached just above my knee, the white shirt was tucked neatly into my skirt, the knee high grey socks well came up to just a bit above my knees and my black tie completed the look. Beth wasn’t kidding when she said the uniform was different to other schools, I already felt like a rich snob already.
“Knock knock.” Beth said opening the door door to the walk in wardrobe.
“Could you help me make my outfit look a little less boring?” I asked not liking the lack of spikes or leather on my uniform.
“Sure sweetie, the school only has the requirement to wear the uniform so you can style it however you want.” She told me going over to my drawers.
“Okay so if you put this belt on and put these shoes on,” she said handing me a black belt that had studs across it and a pair of black flat shoes to match. After I slipped the belt and shoes Beth handed me a black leather back back that was big enough to hold some books in but not too big.
“There now the look is complete,” she said once she had finished and I gave a little twirl. I took one final look in the mirror and she was right it did complete the outfit.
“Wait put these on,” she said handing me a ring and a long necklace. “Now the look is complete.”
“Thanks Beth” I thanked. We both walked out of the wardrobe and downstairs to the kitchen where Richard, Kenny and Dustin were.
“Morning Brooklyn! Did you have a good sleep?” Richard asked whilst pouring the little ones some lucky charms into two bowls with milk.
“Yes, thank you.” I replied nicely as Ash nor Tristan were here to comment on it.
“So where is everyone else?” I asked.
“Sorry honey but they said they had to be in early today so they took the limo but I can give you a ride into school.” Beth suggested. Sure, they had to be in ‘early’ they probably just didn’t want to be seen with the new girl.
“That would be great,” I answered taking a seat.
“Would you like some toast?” Richard asked.
“Yeah, I'd love some toast.” I said and Richard went and got some bread from the bread bin to put in the toaster which made me wander where all the staff were.
