The ride home is filled with tense silence. You are trying not to scream from worry and anger. You hate feeling like this. So upset and exhausted that it's all you can do to not break apart. You lean your head against the tinted windows and sigh, wanting to maybe squeeze in a nap on the way home.
When you do fall asleep, Mendy thinks it's safe to talk to the others in the limo. Charlie has headphones in, so she addresses Moni first.
"Can you believe Lils almost dropped me? I mean I know she doesn't like me but honestly the nerve! At least she got what she deserved right?"
Moni, instead of calmly disagreeing like expected, leans forward suddenly, before answering in an angry and disdainful hiss.
"Do you think I'm an idiot? I know what happened. You purposely let go early. You wanted her to miss you! What kind of a person is that much of a fraud to blame Lily's shoulder on anyone but yourself?"
Mendy looks shocked, but then a sly, snake-like smirk slides onto her face.
"It takes one to know one."
Now its Moni who looks shocked. She turns her head, avoiding Mendy's acid eyes. "I don't know what you mean..."
"What was that piece of paper James gave you? A number maybe? Now who's the fraud?" She leans back triumphantly. "Did you realize you weren't good enough and looked for the other options? Smart choice."
"You absolute-"
"Ah-ah!" Mendy chides Moni maliciously. "There are cameras present. You don't want to be 'the girl who freaks out' this season do you? I mean Jezebel could take the cake, but are giving her a run for her money."
"If they put this in the show, the audience will hear what you did too." Moni looks smug, but her smile falls when Mendy laughs.
"Not so. I bribed the cameramen. They won't show anything I don't want them to."
The door to the limo opens suddenly and light practically blinds the girls inside. Roman is holding that door open, aviators low on her nose.
"Not so," she mimics Mendy in a nasally mean-girl voice before reaching in and helping a sleepy you out of the car. She makes icy eye contact with Mendy to match the frigidity of her next words. "I'm the new highest bidder. You're done sweetheart."

Lylin is sleeping fitfully in the back of the ambulance with Jack watching her with worry when he gets a phone call.
He almost ignores it, but upon seeing the caller ID, decides against it. A cheery voice rings into his ear.
"Hey Jack! How're ya holding up?"
Jack leans back in his seat and rests his head on the van wall. After getting a "my lips are sealed" motion from the EMT riding in the back with them, he let's out a huge sigh.
"Not well Robin. Not. Well."
"Why's that?" Robin's voice is calm and still happy, which for some reason unknown to him, angers Jack.
"You want a list?" He doesn't wait for his friend to answer, but instead jumps into a tangent.
"Lylin dislocated her shoulder, apparently one of the contestants is lying to me and bribing cameramen, one is probably going to leave the show for the hot trapeze instructor, and on top of it all, every time I see [y|n] I-" Jack stops abruptly when he looks down, because Lylin's eyes are now on his, and even though she sleepy, she looks furious.
"Every time you see [y|n] you...?" Robin sounds subdued and worried. Jack was never this worked up.
"I... S-something just came up, I'll talk to you later Robin. Sorry." Jack waits for him to say goodbye before hanging up.
He heaves yet another huge sigh and addresses Lylin, who is now wide awake, despite the amount of painkillers in her. "How much do you know?" He could assume she'd heard most of it.
She looks into his eyes, and Jack feels ashamed at the amount of anger and disappointment in them.
Her voice is like ice water when she answers. "For one thing, I know the end to that sentence."

After being escorted in by Roman, you're given a whopping two seconds to gain awareness of your surroundings before being assaulted with questions by Arti, and asked the same questions quietly by Luna.
Aarti is nearly bouncing with excitement. "How'd it go? Did you have fun? Did it feel like flying? Where's Lily?"
At the last question, you wince. Arti's excitement immediately ends, and her eyes narrow. "Where Is Lily?"
Luna watches you carefully but silently, as if trying to read your emotions. You can't get the words out. You can't meet her eyes.
I was supposed to take care of her. I said I would take care of her!
Moni, who had come in right after you, puts a hand on your shoulder and answer for you.
"She's ok, but she dislocated her shoulder." She puts up a hand to stop the new barrage of questions in response to her statement before continuing.
"She's on her way to the hospital with Jack right now. Roman said a little later we can go visit."
This answer seems to placate the girls, though Luna still looks at you with slight anger. You can't get yourself to meet her eyes. You'd promised and didn't follow through.
You hear her sigh before you feel a tap on your shoulder. You look up and at Luna. "I'm sure it wasn't your fault. You shouldn't be held responsible for anyone but yourself. Especially on a date." She quietly addresses Moni with thinly laced anger. "Mendy had something to do with this didn't she?"
Moni gives a harsh nod. Luna sighs.
"Of course she did. You must be exhausted," she addresses you again, "Do you want to take a nap before we visit Lily?"
Just then, Mendy bursts through the front door of the house. She storms past you, purposefully slamming her shoulder into yours. You faintly hear her muttering angrily to herself.
"Highest bidder? Highest bidder??"
You watch her go before looking back at Moni and Luna.
"Yeah... I think a nap would be smart."
