I watched as Reed talked to Ava.

Maybe he was ratting me out, telling her everything I told him last night.

I went over to him after Ava walked away, pulling him aside. "Did you tell her?"

"What?"

"Did you rat me out?" I asked.

"No, she was just asking about a couple patients I saw yesterday."

"Really?"

"Yes, really," he chuckled. "I wouldn't do that to you."

I sighed. "Sorry for snapping I just-"

"I know, it's okay." He smiled, patting my shoulder reassuringly.

After that, I went to my lab, constructing the first part of my plan.

Thomas

When you open this, you should be seated in the Deadheads where no one can see you. No cameras, no boys.

This is going to sound crazy, but I want to get you out. I want to defeat WICKED, I want to make sure you and all of your friends get out.

Free from the Maze, safe from the Flare.

You don't have to trust me, you probably shouldn't but I've constructed a plan that could get you out.

Firstly, you need to get into the Maze.

Take the first four lefts, then two rights, go straight and use the Griever needle Minho found. That's the way out.

Don't tell anyone about this letter. Keep it to yourself and hopefully you can trust me.

I folded it up, putting it in an envelope. Now, I had to get it to the Box when they send it the supplies.

The Box was hidden on the other part of the compound and I needed a reason to be over there. Over in the medical wing.

I put the letter in the waistband on my pants, pulling my shirt over it. I grabbed the knife from beside the computer from lunch, pressing it against my wrist.

I sighed deeply before pulling it across, blood coming from it immediately.I pressed my hand against it as I stumbled out of my lab, catching people's attention.

Doctor Reed came over to me,  picking me up in his arms.

They patched me up in the infirmary, making a chart about what happened.

I was here.

When night came, I unhooked myself from all the machines, pulling the letter from my waistband. I easily slipped past the sleeping guard, heading towards where they sent up the Gladers.

I climbed over the gate, letting the note fall into a basket.

Quickly, I headed back towards my bed. I turned a corner, running into a guard.

"Hey, what are you doing back here?" He asked, his fingers hovering over his gun.

"I'm not really into using a bedpan and I got lost looking for the bathroom."

"It's right here." He said to me.

"Thanks."

WICKED suddenly decided to end the Maze Trials. Being them to their official end, find the official cure.

They sent a girl up, Teresa, the same girl Thomas was working with.

Thomas found my letter when she went it, shoving it behind his back.

The next morning, he was in the Maze. I watched closely to the monitor as he ran, taking my directions.

He investigated for himself, showing Minho. When they got back to the Homestead, they told all the Gladers about it.

A knock on the door pulled me from the monitor.

"Yeah?" I asked.

Someone opened the door and I looked up, meeting Ava Paige's eyes. "Hi Blake."

"Hi."

"I've come to understand that you haven't been completing your weekly reflections."

"I'm sorry, I've just been so busy trying to figure out their slang and getting to know the Maze that I haven't been focusing on them."

"It's alright, you won't have much time before they end."

"Are you going to kill them all?" I asked as she starting to close the door.

"Essentially."

"Right."

That night, the doors to the Maze didn't close. Grievers were coming out.

I was stuck behind these computers, unable to do anything.

I started typing away on the computer, searching for any way to get there out and now.

Suddenly, the door opened and Ava Paige stood there, guards behind her, a sly smirk on her face.

"Step away from the computer and put your hands up."
