"It has been 3, months since the now, eighteen-year-old Mila Wilson and eighteen-year-old Ryan Adams was found in the blood shattered police station. Mila was found on the floor along with the dead policemen in the waiting room with a gun wound in the stomach. Ryan was found in a cell with blood, floating from his head. The teenagers were found, by another teenager, Jace. Sources say that he is an old friend of Mila. He was the one who called the neighboorhood police station, to come and catch the wrongdoers. As the police came along with the ambulances, they immediately took care of the situation. Jace, fortunately, saw the criminal and gave his description. The criminal is former sheriff from Florida; Jeremy Horson. He is now behind bars accompanied by his son; Peter Horson. According to Jace, Peter has been harassing Mila for 2, years. Peter, is also being charged for another crime, which is unknown to the press. Jace had some evidence to back up his story, and the police have respected, the wishes of the family to not release it. The two teenagers are alive today, as the only survivors. No policemen survived the attack. Mila is already back on her feet, but she still refuses to come up with a statement. Though Ryan is still in a coma and the doctors are unsure if he will wake up..."
Mila turns off the TV in the white hospital room. She has heard the same story over a hundred times and is getting sick of it.
She has been spending the last 3, months sitting here by Ryan's bedside.
The minute she could leave her room, she spent all her time here; repeating the day over and over in her head. Looking for things she could've done differently.
She comes up with the same answer each time. Nothing.
Mila should've been happy. She finally had Peter locked up where he belongs.
But she's not.
Something is just not adding up. It can't be over easily, can it? Mila thought the moment she saw her stalker and his dad being droved away would fill her with happiness. However, more questions came.
She doesn't understand why Jeremy would go through all that trouble to revenge a girl who "broke" his son. He must've had another errand. But the question is; what?
Urgh. Mila shakes her head. She has been here for far too long. She shouldn't be thinking about it anymore.
That part of her life is over.
She smiles at that thought. I can finally start the next part.
She glances down at Ryan. His black hair is styled upwards like it always is. His, brown eyes, are closed, but Mila visualise them as she usually sees them; happy with life. His mouth is drawn, in a straight line.
Mila doesn't like the look of that. Usually, it is either in a side smirk or a full-blown smile.
A silent tear trails down her cheek. She needs him to wake up, and remove the tears there keep following the first. She needs him to tell her that everything would be okay now. She needs to hear his laughter chasing away the silence.
She wants to forget all about her previous mistakes and start from scratch.
Yes, Mila wished a lot of things, but none of them seemed to come true.
A gentle knock comes from the door, bringing Mila back from her wandering thoughts. "Come in."
She quickly removes the tears from her cheeks and puts a smile on her face.
Don't want people to see you broken.
Sam and Irina step slowly in with sad frowns on their faces.
