“Oh Blaine, I love you so much!” I smiled as I saw Blaine’s smile beaming at me. I did it, it wasn’t even that hard!

“I love you too..” My angel spoke to me as she came closer. I never felt so happy in my life! My heart was swelling in happiness.

“Do you mean it Blainey-poo?” I had to make sure. She nodded in all seriousness, and I believed her, but then something weird happened. She started to burst out laughing. Confusion took over my mind as I thought I heard someone’s voice take over hers. I looked at Blaine to feel my eyes adjust to something else that made me shudder: two familiar idiots. My smile immediately was gone.

“No?” I asked in horror as I realized those idiots heard me talk in my sleep. I had a bad habit of sleep talking since my father passed away. It’s almost as if I wanted him to hear my dreams or something.

I started rubbing my eyes petrified of what they had on me now until I looked over at them shamefully. However, when I looked up, my eyes went wider as I noticed Kevin was getting this on camera. We were still in his car, but it was parked. Kevin had his phone out recording for who knows how long! Now that I was more aware of my surroundings, their laughter went on full effect in my ear as they went on mocking me.

“Blainey-poo?” Kevin cooed. “I thought only girls come up with those kinds of nicknames.”

”Well we are talking about Alan.” I scowled at Jesse’s comment of him implying I was a girl.

“Tell the camera how you love your Blainey-pee!” Jesse continued. Kevin’s face turned sour as he opened his car door and stepped out. It was still sunny outside which made me wonder how long I’ve been asleep. Jesse and I exited the car as well.

“Bro, you mean Blainey-poo? That nickname of yours sucks.”  Kevin put in with a punch to Jesse’s shoulder. Jesse shrugged.

“Let’s ask Alan to come up with a better one.”

Why did I slightly flinch when her name was mentioned? Face it Alan, she’s breaking y our heart and can care less. You need to get over it. I started craning my neck. His car seat was actually cozy, but it was still a car seat.

“How long have I been asleep?” I asked trying to find a question to my earlier confusion.

“You can substitute ‘asleep’ for ‘knocked out’.” Kevin informed me with a smile as he put his phone away.

“I thought knocked out meant passing out from a fight or something?” I said giving a glare towards Jesse’s direction remembering how I learned that first hand. Jesse welcomed himself into Kevin’s house as Kevin and I stayed behind.

“Slang is something you have got to learn Alan.” I heard Jesse state over his shoulder.

“Kevin, could I ask you something?”

“Yeah what’s up?” As if reading my mind, he went on, “which means what’s new.”

“Well it’s not exactly new, but um.. Well do you mind telling Blaine that I’m with you, but not making it sound like I wanted you to tell her?”

“Sure.” He took his phone out again and this time, I was thankful. ”That reminds me I have to teach you how to text.”

“It’s not that hard.” I scoffed. I took out my iPhone and went to the Contacts App. I saw Kevin’s smile fade when he saw I labeled his number under A-hole #2. I gave him a sheepish smile. I showed him I wasn’t exactly hopeless when it came to some things. I let out a sigh when I passed by Blaine’s number under “Impossible” as in impossible to get, not the most romantic thing, huh?
