Happy Eid everyone!/Eid Mubarak :D

"I'm sorry Blaine."
"Me too." I didn't hear another voice for a while. "When he comes to, I'm gonna pound him in a locker, you know, just for old time's sake."
"I don't really think that'll help Jess." I couldn't help but smile. I felt something in my hand, it felt like another hand.
"Alan?" I heard someone ask, squeezing my hand before I fell back to sleep.
~~
"Alan, how many fingers am I holding?" My dad said, hiding a smile.
"Six." I say confidently. "Duh." Blaine laughed at me.
"That's not six. It's eight." She corrected.
"What do you mean?" I asked her. She showed me eight fingers up. I grew confused.
"That's how much he put up." She explained. I blinked at both of them. I saw Blaine's clearly, she was beside me. But I guess I couldn't see dad's too well.
"Blaine, your mom's here to pick you up!" I heard my mom shout, and I sulked. I didn't want her to go.
"'Kay!" She said to my mom before looking back at me and my dad. "I have to go, but I'll see you tomorrow Alan and Alan's dad!" She said before waving to my dad and me.
"Wait," I said before quickly giving her a hug goodbye. "Uh.. see you Blaine." I said feeling my cheeks go warm. She smiled at me before hugging me back.
"I'm gonna see ya tomorrow, silly!" She told me before she left. I went back to my dad, not even noticing I was smiling.
"I think it's time to get your eyes checked Alan," My dad said to me. I just nodded.
A few hours later..
"Dad, I have to wear glasses, this is horrible!" I said on our way home.
"They look fine; they make you look super smart." He assured me.
"But..the kids are going to think I'm a loser." I complained.
"Have the kids been bothering you before?" He asked me.
"No, it's just I see some kids get teased. I don't want that to happen to me." I admitted. My dad looked at me for a second before turning back to the road.
"Sometimes people can be mean, it's true," he said nodding, "but only because they've been hurt before." I listened to him. "That doesn't mean it's okay for them to tease people. Just that sometimes people need another chance."
"Okay dad." I said nodding at him. "Dad, sometimes I see some of the kids getting teased but I don't do anything, is that bad?" I say playing with the end of my shirt.
"Well if people are being teased or being made fun of, you should always want to do something about it like talk to the teacher or the principal or tell me or your mom, you have so many people that care about you." He said ruffling my hair, I tried to back away when he did that.
"Okay dad, I hear you." I said moodily, grabbing onto my glasses.
"Wear those glasses proud Alan, here let me see them on you." I sighed before putting them on. "Look, now you can see everything, and you can show Blaine that you really can count high." I smiled at this.
"You're right," I said eager for tomorrow, "Dad, do you think Blaine will like my glasses?" I looked to see a smile went on his face at my question.
