The rest of lunch passed by. Charlie and Blaine were talking about dresses while Kevin, Jesse, and I were talking about mindless stuff. I saw Lily glance at Charlie while Charlie was laughing. Lily looked upset before she saw my look and turned away. I shook my head and went back to the chatter.

During Free Period, I met up with my new three friends- Chris and his bunch for the tutoring session. We went over the lesson until I allowed a five minute break when Cole dropped his head into his book wanting to give up for the day. They were complaining about how much they hate math until Nate brought up Blaine's party.

"It's going to be tight!" Nate said, closing his textbook. I rolled my eyes, not bothering to mention that he's going to still need that.

"Jasper Evans, right?" Cole asked lifting up his head.

"Yeah man!" Nate said, almost looking offended.

I started to look through the math textbook while they were talking.

"Alan, you're going right?" Chris said, holding in a laugh as Nate started to lean far with his chair.

"OF course, he's going. It's Blaine's party." Nate said before turning our attention to his more reserved friend. "Cole you're going, right?"

"Of course." Cole said with an eye roll. "Dude, you're going to fall back." He warned. Nate just scoffed.

"I thought only real men were invited." Nate said flexing his arms, forgetting that he was leaning on his chair. He lost balance as the chair fell taking him with it. We all started to laugh at him. I think I laughed the loudest. "Hey you're the teacher." He said moodily at me; Cole helped him get back up. Chris just sent me an amused look.

I shook my head still laughing. That was hilarious. When I finally got myself to stop, I told them the break was over and they sulked but listened anyways. I told Nate to open back his textbook.

Next thing we heard was a knock on the door. A familiar face showed up and I tried to not let my annoyance show. Kevin's cousin was here. What was she doing here? She looked nervous, which honestly did surprise me to say the least.

"Could I please join you guys?" She said, looking like she was expecting me to say no. I lightly tapped my glasses, thinking of what I had to lose. I looked down, thinking she was Kevin's cousin and he was a good friend of mine. When I saw her looking like she was about to leave, I raised my hand to stop her.

"We're on page 168." I told her. She looked at me gratefully, and I gave her a half-smile.

The rest of the day was filled with chatter about the party. When I started walking Blaine home, my mood was officially better. I showed her the bush that grew the blue lilies. So she understood why I gave her them instead of the ordinary roses. I picked up a lily and handed it to her. She held on to it and gave me the biggest smile before leaning back to my side and giving me a kiss on the cheek. I smiled at her and put an arm around her.

"Hey Blaine," I started.

"Yeah?" She said twirling the flower around in her fingers.

"Even though the party is at your house, will you consider being my.. uh partner?" I just paused, blinking. Did I just say partner?

"Your partner?" She asked with a chuckle.

"You know my.. companion?" I tried blushing now. You're making it awkward you idiot. I honestly thought I stopped with the whole grammar thing. Old habits really do die hard, I guess.
