Many people like to see actions made than words but that doesn't means words don't do anything. You could do something really sweet but say the wrong thing and you messed up.. many people do this especially guys. They don't usually know what to say or do when someone is sad. They could hug you and it's like the best feeling you can have but unfortunately it doesn't last forever. Knowing someone is there for you is one of the best feeling ever but once they leave you get sad. There are people out there in the world who are always there for people but when they need someone no one is there. When their friends or family members are sad they try to make them happy and sometimes it works, just by saying or doing the right thing. I guess both work just depends how you use them.
