Wasted times

I wasted so much time trying
to figure you out, when you didn't
want to be known.
Tell me why did I bother to try and find you, to know you when you didn't want to be found.
You don't even know yourself and
I couldn't blame you.
You been threw so much and it's not your fault.
I finally stopped trying to figure
you out and that's when you needed
someone to figure you out.
You tell me to not give up but
how am I going to do that when you
don't give me a reason to keep trying.
