Finn
I love surprising Gwen.
Gwen hates surprises.
Gwen hating surprise is the reason I love to surprise her. This is the third time this month that I have took her to a mystery location. The first time I took her into a year-round haunted house. I am pretty sure she peed her pants, but then again I think I might have too. Lets just say the haunted house was a bad experience for both of us. The second time I took her to a Insect museum, the museum had living bugs crawling around everywhere. She wouldn't talk to me for a week after that, I didn't know she hated bugs so much. If I were her I would hate surprises too.

Gwen is sitting next to me right now in my truck breathing as if she is having a baby. " Gwen relax, this is going to be fun. I promise," I nudge her shoulder. She looks at me, her eyes are pouring with the word "PANIC" and I automatically feel guilty for being the cause of her distress. "That's what you said last time and the time before. I am not buying it Finn," She closes her eyes and puts her hands onto a praying position. "Gwen are you praying?" I chuckle, " We are going to a theme park not a war zone,"
Gwen turns her head so she is looking at me. All the panic in her eyes has been replaced with confusion. She tilts her head and squints her eyes at me before resting her head on the car window. Still looking out the window she says, " Finn, I hate heights and roller coasters,"
"How do you know if you have even been on a roller coaster before?" I ask while focusing on the road. "How did you know I have never been on a roller coaster? Did you ask my mom?" She asks while shooting me a suspicious glare. I keep my eyes on the road and smile, I didn't ask her mom it was just a lucky guess.
"Have you ever been on a roller coaster?" she bits her lip and leans her head against the window.
"Nope my first time too," I lie. I love roller coasters, when I lived in Portland I would go ever other weekend. "Hey Finn?" she looks up at me.
"Yeah Gwen,"
"You are a terrible liar, you know that right?" she says before turning her head back to the window.
" I do now," I laugh.
The drive to the nearest Theme park is about an hour and a half. We have about half an hour left and I am already getting excited. I can't wait to get Gwen on a roller coaster! That's if she will even get out of the car.
~
We arrive at the park around 5:30, the perfect time. The theme park only has about 40 cars in the parking lot and the air is the perfect temperature. "Ok Gwen ready for the best time of your life?" I flash her a huge smile before hoping out on the car. I hear her groan and then the sound of a car door slamming follows quickly after. Gwen is out of the car, that was easier than I thought it would be.
I throw my arm around her shoulders as we walk though the gates of the theme park towards the ticket building. "Get your heavy arm off of me, " she growls while pushing my arm off her shoulder. I laugh and jog up to the ticket building.
A pretty blonde is sitting on the other side of the glass wall. She looks up at me and doesn't even notice Gwen standing on the other side of me. I look at the girl's name plate, her name is Sasha. I flash Sasha a toothy smile, "Hi, Sasha. Can I get two tickets please." I say with a wink. She twirls her hair around her finger while giggling. "Yes, will that be it?" She says while sliding me two tickets and a card with her phone number on it. "That's it, so that will be about $40 right?" I say with a smile," Oh no I only have $30, is that ok?" I slide her the money. " Oh no its ok, $30 is fine," She says before mouthing the words "call me" and winking. I give her an other huge smile before walking toward the rides.
I look at Gwen who's eyes are focused on her feet. I stop walking and lift her chin with my hand so she is looking at me. "Gwen, whats up? You seem pissed, did I do something?" I ask innocently. She pushes my hand away and keeps walking. " Alright then, silent treatment it is,"
"Are you going to call that girl?" she asks keeping her eyes on the ground. Is Gwen jealous?
" Is Gwen Greene jealous?" I say repeating what I thought and laughing. "Shut up asshole," she says while punching me in the arm," I am not jealous of her or you. Get over yourself," I look at her, she is trying to hold back a smile. The smile wins. Gwen's lips forms into a huge smile and she hits me again in the arm. I just laugh and nudge her back. We walk up to one of the biggest roller coaster at the park and Gwen's panic comes back.
"Pirece, there is no way in hell I am doing that," she says calling me by my last name. I pick her up and throw her over my shoulder. There is no line so I just run up to the entry. I place her into a seat on one of the carts and sit next to her. The guy controlling it nods at me and we start to move.
" I guess its to bad you don't really have a choice," I laugh. We are half way up the ramp leading to the drop. The drop is a lot stepper than it looked from the ground, we are about 200 feet in the air.
"I really want some sour gummy worms right now!" she says as soon as we are about to go flying down the track. Great timing Gwen, great timing.
