Gwen
I had just had the best night of my existence, well so far.
Finn took me to a theme park, which only had about hundred people in it, and we had a fantastic time. I did things I would have never done and I did things I wish I hadn't done. Finn tricked me into going on a terrifying ride and I about passed out during it. Lets just say it was a very traumatic experience for me. I just have a very strong fear of being eaten alive by zombies or eaten by anything really.
But after the haunted ride we watched the fireworks and the scary memories of the ride were forgotten as soon as I saw the first exploding light.
In the moment I am lying in my warm safe bed thinking about the wonderful night I just had. I close my eyes and my mind wanders away into a dreamless sleep

BEEP! BEEP!
Ugh, its morning.
I wake up to the loud and obnoxious sound of my red plastic alarm clock. The idea of whipping the clock across my room crosses my mind but I refrain from doing so. My mom would be pissed if I told her I broke my alarm clock.......... again for the third time. What can I say I'm just not a morning person. I roll out of my low bed and land on my dark shaggy rug. Then with all the strength in my tired body I push myself of the rug and hobble over to the bathroom. I turn on the bathroom lights and squint into the mirror. I always looked weird in the morning, but today I look even worse. My hair is a frizzy and tangled mess while my skin is red and blotchy. Welcome to my failed hygiene and beauty life.
I try to brush my hair out but that just makes it worse. I wash my face and it helps with my redness a bit. I look like a hot mess. I throw my hair into a messy bun and brush me teeth. I walk over to my closet and pick out a random outfit. I stand in front of the mirror and examine myself. I hadn't really realized what I had picked out until it was on my body. I'm wearing dark wash jeans and a white scoop neck tee shirt. I grab my grey beenie, navy blue hoodie, and black converse before climbing down the stairs.
I walk into the bright and sweet smelling kitchen. The smell of coffee and toast fill my lungs.
My mom is reading a magazine while leaning against the counter. I stare at her for a minute and take in her sharp angled features and toned long body. My mom looks stunning even in the morning, she is still in her blue cotton pajamas and white bath robe. She looks up at me and smiles while her blue eyes sparkle.
"Hey honey, good morning."
"ÈGood morning mum," I yawn and take a sit at the small table.
"Hungry?" she offers me some toast and I take a huge bite of it.
I get up and decide to make a bigger breakfast. I grab a egg from the fridge and two more pieces of toast. I cut up some strawberries, blue berries, granola, yogurt, and pour it into a bowl. The I scramble my egg and put that on top of my golden toast. Next I pour myself a tall glass of orange juice before sitting back down and devouring my food. I love breakfast.
I here the door bell ring and my mom goes to answer it. I just keep eating. I'm pretty sure I have yogurt splattered all over my mouth right now but I could care less.
"Hey Gwen, Finn is here to pick you up. Are you ready?" My mom says while walking back into the kitchen with Finn right behind her. Shit, I forgot Finn was picking me up. I look up at Finn before eating another huge spoon full of granola. I study him while chewing. He looks like he is fresh out of the shower, his wavy brown hair is wet and his white t-shirt is sticking to his toned chest. "Wow Gwenie. You have quiet the appetite." Finn chuckles and I just glare at him.
"Yeah Gwen always had a big appetite. She won the school hot dog eating competition in grade six." my mom says in her proud, motherly tone.
I gape at my her for telling him that. That happened four years ago and it was not a event I would like Finn to know about. I eat six hot dogs in two minutes, I puked shortly after. But on the bright side I won three free ice creams from the local ice cream shop. It was worth it.
"I have to admit that is a pretty big achievement, Gwen." he laughs and leans his back against the kitchen counter next to me. I roll my eyes at him and lightly punch his bicep. He laughs and nudges my shoulder. I nudge him back, then he nudges me while laughing. "Oh shoot. You guys better leave or you'll be late," mom says while pushing us both towards the front door. "Good bye Mrs.Greene," Finn says before we step off the porch and onto the drive way. "Good bye you two, have a great day," My mom waves and Finn leads me to his truck. I hop inside his black pick-up-truck while he starts the engine.
"Finn you don't have to drive me to school. As weird as it sounds I actully like the bus," I shrug. "Gwenie, I don't mind driving you to school. It's on the route from my house anyway," He says. "No Finn. Our houses are on different sides of town." I sigh, Finn is a terrible liar."Finn you can't pick me up today because I have a babysitting jig anyway."
"You are a babysitter?" Finn raises his eye brow and gives me a sheepish smile.
"Yes, yes I am." I say while holding my head high. This is my first ever babysitting job, I'm babysitting Ange's younger sister Jessie tonight.
How hard can it be?
