I couldn't help myself anymore. Watching her smile in pure enjoyment made my urge to kiss her stronger. I knew what I was thinking and wanting were wrong, but I didn't care.
Larc didn't deserve her, she's so kind and gentle. Her heart was too pure for him. He's a monster with no self control. He never could control his drinking. I'm surprised he kept it together this long. I always knew it would come down to this, but I had hoped he wouldn't hurt her. I couldn't believe how he left her in the bathroom. He's makes me so mad I could kill him.
I knew I would fall in love with her from the moment that he introduced us. I always kept my feelings secret out of respect but now I didn't care. Even in the crumbled mess I found her in she was still so beautiful.
I know she wants the same thing I do. I could see it in her eyes. The way she kept looking at me, I knew she wanted to kiss me as much as I wanted to kiss her. My move was too soon though. She was taken by surprise and didn't know how to react. I took my hand away and decided to give her more time. I wasn't going to give up that easily. I just hope Larc doesn't find out.
