I mean I kinda like him back but I'm just scared he'll hurt me again.

"Der-." I started.

He got up and started walking back,

I ran up to him and hugged him,

"I'm cold," I said.

He wrapped his arms around me and put my hoodie on.

"I'll keep you warm," he said.

I smiled to myself and bit my lip,

It started to drizzle as he held me in his warm arms.

"We need to start walking or you're gonna get sick in the rain," he said.

I didn't really care.

I just had this really bad urge to kiss him.

The rain got heavier and heavier until we were both drenched in rain,

"What?" he snapped.

Fuck it.

I stood on my tippy toes and cupped his face in my hands, while kissing is plump and pink lips.

He grabbed my waist and kissed me back,

"Staying at my place tonight?" I asked.

He nodded as I held his hand while we ran through the rain and back to my house.

I put our clothes in the dryer as Derek made some hot chocolate.

"Umm why exactly do you have guy clothes in my size?" he asked.

"For comfort or when I'm on my period," I answered.

"Makes sense," he nodded.

He was so fucking hot.

He makes it hard for me not to love him.

I grabbed a mug and sat on Derek's lap as we drank our hot chocolate together,

"Derek?" I mumbled.

"Yes?" He answered.

"I do love you," I said.

"And I truly mean it," I added.

He gave me a small smile and ran his hands through my hair,

"I'm just about ready to sleep," he said.

"Me too. Just leave the mugs in the sink and I'll wash them in the morning," I smiled at him.

He set his mug down and kissed my forehead,

I took his mug as he walked up the steps to my room.

I smiled to myself thinking about him,

Derek was one in a million.

Unique, if you will.

And I liked that about him.

I filled the mugs with water and let them sit while I made my way upstairs to join Derek.

He took his shirt off and was sprawled out all over the bed,

I chuckled lowly at his position, not wanting to wake him up.

I turned my light off and laid my hand on his abs while my head rested on his chest.

I kissed his jawline before snuggling up with him under the warm sheets.
