I hate Monday mornings so much,

Everyone is in a pissy mood and acts like a little bitch, but I can't complain about this weekend.

As I made my way to my locker, everyone was walking so slow and sluggish and it was pissing me off because they all looked like zombies and I had a Biology class to get to.

I walked around them quickly, in frustration and finally made it to my locker.

I grabbed my notebook and text book and made my way into class just before the bell rang.

I took my seat next to Derek, in the back.

"Okay guys be quiet! The morning announcements are starting," My teacher warned.

After a few moments, Jack Anderson and Andrea Scott were on the Promethean Board talking about athletics, clubs and school news for the week.

Jack Anderson's dad happens to be a teacher at our school, and also happens to be my AP History teacher.

And Jack is a goofy jock. He's funny but he's also an asshole at times during 4th period.

He'll tease girls by like grabbing their thighs, pulling their hair, caressing their cheeks and shit but he never gets in trouble.

Andrea Scott. Captain of the varsity cheer squad. She's taken our team to nationals 2 years in a row. She's pretty but here's the catch. She's bitchy.

She whines and bitches when she doesn't get what she wants and tells her dad, as if the world revolves around her.

Most of the girls in our school want to be her or friends with her but if I'm being completely honest, not me. Nope. I don't fucking like her either and she's had a taste for Derek since middle school.

The announcements were finally over, thank goodness.

"So what did you guys do this weekend?" My biology teacher asked.

Derek and I raised our hands,

"Uhh yes Ava! What'd you do this weekend?" She asked as if she actually cared.

"Derek and I hung out at his place then we went to a movie Saturday and I spent Sunday relaxing." I said.

"Oh that's good, what did you and Derek do on Friday?" She asked.

The whole class looked at us and started making dirty remarks and cooing.

"We made tacos and watched The Conjuring." I answered.

"Aww that sounds fun." She said.

I just needed to get through one more class of the day and I can go home.

My last class: Gym.

I finished up my sprints efficiently and took a long sip of water,

I looked at my watch and started to jog to the locker room.

I swiped my deodorant stick a few times underneath each arm,

I changed my clothes and put my gym clothes inside my locker as the annoying bitch who's locker happens to be next to me, Giselle, talks shit, as always.

I rolled my eyes and grabbed my phone as I made my way out of the locker room.

The bell didn't ring yet and I grabbed my backpack and everything.

I ran into Derek as we headed for the exit,

"How was your day?" he asked looking straight ahead.

"Rough. You?" I asked looking ahead as well.

"Also rough. Let's go cuddle at my house." he suggested.

"Sounds good to me." I said.

He wrapped his arm around my waist as we made our way to the parking lot to meet Delaney and Max.
