I saw Ava lying on my chest as I slowly woke up,

The memories from last night came fluttering back into my head.

I smiled to myself a bit, thinking about her.

"Good morning," she greeted,

"Good morning," I responded.

"Ava! Get up! It's 7:45, you're gonna be late for school!" Her mom yelled.

"Oh shit!" We said in unison.

I totally forgot about her parents and they would not appreciate me sleeping in the same bed as their daughter.

"Umm just hide in my bathroom!" She said frantically.

I jumped out of her bed quickly and started her shower as she got undressed in her closet, and put on her robe.

She closed the bathroom doors and tied her robe closed as we heard a knock on the door.

It was her dad, fuck.

"Do you need a ride today?" He asked.

"No, I'm gonna walk with Jess," She said.

"Oh okay, hurry up and turn off the water. Your mom and I are leaving out," He said.

"Oh okay bye," she said before slamming the door shut.

"Save water and shower with me?" I smirked.

"No, now hurry up!" She yelled.

I checked out her window to make sure both cars were gone before I went downstairs.

I was wearing a white towel and I needed to get my boxers and stuff out of the dryer,

Ava was in the shower and I couldn't wait any longer for her to get out.

Just when I was ready, Delaney called.

"Hello?" I said.

"Hey umm mom and dad are freaking out because they think you locked yourself in your room last night. Where the fuck are you?" She mumbled.

"Last night I was out with Ava and we went out for ice cream but I spent the night at her place. Just tell them I got an early start and needed to think, so I left at 6." I said.

"What were you guys doing?" She cooed.

"We'll talk later and you better tell them what I told you to or they'll know about what you and Max did yesterday after school," I said.

"Okay okay fine!" She gave in.

"Good. See ya later," I said hanging up.

"Was that Delaney?" Ava asked.

"Yep. Oh and could you please get me my clothes I'm scared your parents have a camera or are still home or some shit," I explained.

She laughed and came back a few moments later with our stuff from last night.

"You wanna call today a lazy day?" She asked looking at me.

"You already know it," I smiled.

"Aww man, seriously?" I said.

Jessica was sick and she wasn't coming to school today, meaning that she can't come to the movies with Derek and I after school.

"Yeah like this shit is fucking bad," she answered sounding congested.

"Damn well that sucks. I guess we'll see you when you feel better," I said.

"Yeah but have fun and don't get too scared," she laughed.

"I won't. Feel better and love ya," I responded before hanging up.

"Jess is sick and she's not coming," I told Derek as we are our pizza together.

"Bummer," He said with a full mouth.

I laughed and threw my crush on the dish.

I miss being like this with Derek. Just the two of us. It's nice.
