I woke up by my door,

I looked in the mirror, to find my eyes red and puffy.

I looked at my phone and it was 7:39.

Have I really been asleep 3 hours?

Fuck that's long.

I went to the bathroom and rinsed my my face,

I heard my phone start to ring,

I dried my face and made my way over to my bedside table to grab my phone.

Thank god it wasn't Derek or Jess.

It was Delaney.

"Hey, what's up?" I asked.

"Hey how're you holding up?" she asked.

"Really badly actually. I miss him and I love him but I don't know why he'd do something like this to me," I said.

"I'm really really sorry. But my parents want you to come over and talk," she said.

"Oh okay, let me just grab a hoodie and i'll be over in a few, okay?" i answered.

"That's fine. See you soon," she mumbled.

I hung up and grabbed my grey nike hoodie and some slides before heading out.

I rang the doorbell and was greeted by Derek.

I slipped my slides off and moved past him.

He had tears on his eyes,

"I'm sorry. Just please talk to me," he begged.

I shoved my way past him and glared at him with my bloodshot eyes.

I walked into the living room to see his parents, Jessica, her parents, my parents and Delaney all sitting down.

I sat down next to Delaney and glared at Derek and Jessica sitting next to each other.

Before Mrs. Luh started speaking,

Derek and Jessica were tearing up.

"Umm what the hell are you two crying for?" I asked with my raspy voice.

My mom glared at me for my language but I didn't care,

"If anything I should be crying because you lied to me. You hurt me. You cheated on me because I told you the timing wasn't right. If you really loved me like you said you did you would've waited till we were both mature enough to have sex. But no, you were so impatient and Jessica was such a desperate little slut you guys decided to just do it," I explained.

"Desperate little slut? You're the one who lost your virginity in middle school. So shut up," Jessica said.

"Well I'm not the one pregnant with my best friends ex, so shut the fuck up and enjoy my sloppy seconds whore," I yelled,

The parents were a bit taken back by what I said to Jessica.

"I'm sorry for my language. I'm just really upset right now," My voice cracked.

"Ladies settle down," Derek's mom said.

I slouched in my chair and crossed my arms.

"Now Ava please tell us what had happened," Derek's dad asked.

"Yesterday after Derek and I came back from Dairy Queen, Jessica called me and had told me she thought she was pregnant and I asked her did she hook up with anyone. She said no the first time then the second time I asked her, she revealed that she and Derek hooked up about 3 weeks ago. I was supposed to be meeting with her later on that day so I could tell her that Derek and I were together because Derek was urging me not to tell her for a while." I said.
