The guys have been avoiding me for a week. Asher left a few days after he arrived and even still the boys won't talk to me. They ignored me when I sat at their table. They never came for their random house checkups. They don't even try to make small talk with me in class. I'm not surprised with mercury but Thaz, Hades, and Aaron too?

I dig my head in my locker rummaging through the piles of homework that are already flooded in my locker.

"Hey!" Hailey cheerfully says as she unlocks her locker. The pink sparkles fling off of the locker as she puts in her combination. "Did your boyfriend leave so soon? Dang he was hot."

I close my locker giving up and turn to face her. I'm not in the mood. The only person I've talked to lately was Scotty and Andre, those conversations will stay unspoken about.

"I know. He is hot. And opposites attract. He's hot, I'm cold. Also meaning I will yank every strand of hair from your scalp and glue it to your locker and not feel any remorse."

She chuckles smacking on her pink gum.

"Ok. Let's have an example shall we?" I grab a wad of her hair and pull her away from her locker. She yells as I pull her back towards the locker and shoved her strawberry blonde hair in, slamming the locker closed with her hair.

Not to mention I was already doing horrible with my grades. The only thing I have an A in is gym.

I walk away without regret feeling more pissed off then before. My scar was fading but still not completely healed and Andre asks me about it nearly every day. He's been getting on my nerves more than usual too.

I stick my earphones in and crank the volume up. Stomping through the halls anger radiating off of me, everyone giving me strange looks as I pass them. I finally reach the school double doors and nearly kick it open.

Andre isn't driving me today because he has clarinet, or some geeky shit, practice. So I have to walk. Which takes 20 minutes. I walk out of the double doors feeling less crowded than before, inhaling the fresh air and focusing on the color changing trees and the wind.

It's hoodie weather and here I am hoodieless. I couldn't bring myself to put on the only hoodie I have.

Mercury's.

I feel a hand on my shoulder as I turn the corner. I turn around taking one of my earphones out.

Speak of the devil.

"So now you're talking to me?" I ask as I stop walking. The boys aren't with him like usual. "Yeah." I roll my eyes and start walking again.

"Are you still boxing?"

"I don't know." I say honestly. "Is it something your boyfriend said?" He asks with a raised eyebrow.

Yes.

"No."

"Well if you do keep boxing, tell me. So I can clean up your cuts every time." He says stuffing his hands in his pockets.

"Are you following me home?" I asks ignoring his adorable comment.

"No."

"Then what are you doing? As I remember your house is," I point the opposite way we are walking. "That way."

"I'm meeting friends at a friends house." He shrugs.

"So can you at least tell me why you guys have been ignoring me lately?"

"Nope."

"What! Why?" He just shrugs in response.

"Ok that's it!" I throw my book bag on the ground and jump onto his back. He clearly wasn't expecting it, bending a little as I wrap my arm around his neck to support myself.
