"Your hair has grown longer, Z." Bella exclaimed as she brushed Zayn's long dark locks, grinning. "It's so pretty." She combed his hair back and grabbed a dark scrunchy, tying his curls back. The four of them were currently sitting in Zayn's room. After coming back home from the mall, they immediately locked themselves away after grabbing some snacks as well. Toni wasn't very happy about the fact that his boyfriend dropped him for his brother and his friends, but he guessed it was a part of the bonding trip they had going on at the moment, so he didn't say much and played video games with his own friends in his room. Their parents were busy themselves, Yaser working on some paperwork in the living room and Trisha preparing a nice hot meal for dinner.

Zayn just hummed in response, mumbled a soft thank you after. He was fiddling with a rubber hairband, not having said anything much ever since his breakdown in the restroom at the ball. He still was pretty hurt because of Liam.

The brunette haired girl noticed that something wasn't right throughout the rest of the day ever since they returned from the mall. She had also noticed his bloodshot eyes and tearstained cheeks. But she didn't want to bombard him with questions. She dropped it up until now, not liking the fact that Zayn was sad.

"Okay, what's wrong?" She asked and moved on the bed, sitting in front of him. "And don't say nothing, because you've been acting sad ever since we came back from the mall." She gave him a knowing look, Zayn just pursing his lips at that and not looking up.

"Come on, Zee." Bella sighed and grabbed the hairband from his hands, placing it aside. "What's wrong?" She asked again and glanced at Louis and Perrie who were trapped in their own conversation while doing manicures and pedicures.

"It's not important, Bella." The sixteen year old finally replied after a while, slumping his shoulders. It was obvious that he didn't want to talk about it, but Bella wasn't gonna let go of it that easily – at least not again.

"See, now this is what we're not going to do." The girl shook her head. "I can already guess who it is about but I'm still gonna ask. Is it Liam?" She tilted her head questioningly and sighed when she didn't get a respond, hating the fact that she was right. The cheerleader noticed that Zayn's bottom lip was trembling a little and that he tried to fight back the tears as he thought about earlier, looking around the room quickly.

She chewed on her lip as she figured out what to say, wanting to cheer him up. "Maybe we can get the FBI agent assigned to your phone to threaten Liam via text message. He'll probably piss his pants like a five year old, cuz you know, they're known to be ruthless." She grinned and snatched Zayn's iPhone from the carpet, staring at the front camera with her eyes squinted. She started tapping on his phone, the dark haired boy watching the brunette haired girl with his eyebrows scrunched and a what-the-hell-is-happening expression on his face.

Bella glanced back at the sixteen year old. "What?" She asked dumbfounded, Zayn opening his mouth to comment something on that, but he couldn't really find the word to say anything. Instead, he just shook his head with a slight giggle before looking down at his lap.

He suddenly heard his mother's voice call him from downstairs, making him look at his door. "I'll be right back." He sighed in annoyance and pushed himself up on his feet. He quickly jogged out of his room, heading down the stairs only to stop mid way when he saw Liam stand by the front door talking to his mother.

"Oh there you are, sweetheart." Trisha whipped her head towards the stairs and smiled at her youngest child, motioning to step closer. "Liam, here, wants to chat with you. Says it urgent, right love?" She turned back to look at the seventeen year old, Liam nodding his head with a small smile.

Zayn kissed his teeth and hummed in response, continuing to make his way down the stairs and walking up to him. "Thanks, mum." He kissed her cheek and watched her head back to the kitchen after saying goodbye to the jock.

Zayn pushed Liam out of the house and closed the front door behind him so no one would eavesdrop on their conversation. Plus, he didn't want the others to see Liam be here. Who knows what they would think.

"What are you doing here?" The boy asked and looked up at him, giving him a slight glare. "Shouldn't you be with your stupid girlfriend?" He folded his arms over his chest, raising one of his brows in question.

"Listen, Baby, I'm–"

"Don't call me baby. You don't deserve to call me baby. Not after the stunt that you pulled today at the mall. Don't you know how fucking humiliated I felt limping around like an idiot and feeling happy all day until you decided to show off with that bitch sofa?" Zayn snapped. His hands were balled into fists which made his long nails dig into his palm due to how tense and mad he was at Liam. "And I don't want to hear your lame arse excuse or apology because you are a fucking jerk and asshole for what you pulled."

The brunette was a little surprised at Zayn's sudden outburst, pursing his lips because he was too afraid to say anything, fearing he might say something wrong.

"You were wrong to do that. So fucking wrong. I felt like an idiot for believing just for a second that you'd dump her over me but of course all that I was was a good fuck, am I right? You just used me, didn't you? And here I was thinking that we have- no, had something special. Well you know what? If that was the case fuck off and don't talk to me again because I'm starting to regret sleeping with you." Zayn's voice came out as a bitter sneer and even though he didn't mean the last part and he could see the hurt in Liam's eyes, no one could blame him. The brunette took his girlfriend out the night after they had sex. It was a shitty feeling. The boy knew it wasn't his place to react like this considering he helped Liam cheat on her, but he felt used. And he had a right to speak up for himself.

"You can leave now. I don't want to see you anymore." With that, Zayn turned around and entered the Mansion, slamming the front door shut in Liam's face just as he was about to say something. He sighed frustratingly and leaned against the door, holding back the tears that were about to run down his cheeks. He shook his head, wiping his eyes quickly and inhaling a deep breath.

He wasn't going to let Liam get to him. He had enough of pining after him and feeling used. What Liam did today proved to him where he stood with the brunette and he took it as a sign to move on. And that was exactly what he was going to do.
