Regret.

Hurt.

Anger.

That's what he has been feeling for the past days. His mind was buzzing and his heart pounded so hard in his chest that it felt like it was about to explode. How he was releasing his anger was simple. His grandfather had bought him a boxing bag a while back, but he never necessarily needed it until now. After what happened, he picked it up from the storage room of the apartment building and hung it up in his room. Now he'd spent every day boxing until his knuckles would bleed through the bandages he wrapped around his hands.

Liam realized what kind of "friends" he had dealt with. Andy specifically. He thought about everything that had happened the past years and finally took to heart that the lad was nothing but a manipulative piece of shit. And god forbid, the way he beat him up was probably worse than he did with Zayn. He even kind-of, sort-of used a golfing-club as well and broke one of Andy's legs. The brunette slept in jail that night until his father bailed him out. Turned out, one of his teammates finally confessed about the fact that Zayn wasn't spreading any rumors at all and that they just overheard it to have something against him.

Liam was disgusted with himself and quite frankly he hated himself on top of that. He deserved every karma that was going to hit him in the future because what he did was unforgivable. He wouldn't blame Zayn if he never wanted to see him again. He'd never want to see himself again. What he did was the most fucked up thing and that could never be forgotten.

The day he came home, the video was already trending. People were watching it on any social media it was posted on and were laughing at it, commenting mean things about Zayn and saying how he deserved it. The jock ended up throwing his phone against the wall, watching it shatter into millions of pieces. He wasn't even bothered to buy a new phone.

The latter threw hard punches against the bag, causing it to swing back and forth aggressively. His jaw was clenching and unclenching, his muscles were tended and he was so focused on punching the bag that he completely shut out his entire surroundings. There was loud music pumping in his room so he wouldn't be able to hear his father calling for him when needed. Right now, he just needed to let it all out by punching the boxing bag repeatedly.

His mind kept wandering back to his conversation with his grandfather. After his dad told him about what happened at school, Liam was fucked. He had never in his life seen pops be that mad and disappointed at him. Never. Except one time when he accidentally broke a very meaningful vase when he was younger. His grandfather seemed as if he was about to blow – which he basically did. He yelled at him, cursed him out and repeatedly spoke about how disappointed he was. Then he slipped the news about Zayn being pregnant.

When Liam heard that, his life was drained from his body. He did everything he could to find his hospital room that same day but the nurses wouldn't let him know any type of room information. He had to improvise. He ended up finding out through a hallway conversation between his doctor and Zayn's parents that he had a miscarriage, the news making him feel all types of ways.

It was his fault. It will always be his fault.

Since then his mind just kept being trained in that one specific thing. If he hadn't let Andy manipulate him and Sophia encourage him like that, none of this would've happened. Liam would've still been mad at Zayn for the record store and Zayn would've been able to give birth to their kid. Yet that wasn't gonna happen. And as much as Liam wanted to turn back the clock, he couldn't.

The brunette stopped and panted heavily, holding onto the boxing bag when it flung back at him. He rubbed at his sweaty face and unwrapped the bandages from around his hand. His knuckles were red and sore from the boxing, the lad walking up to his mini fridge and getting out a ice pack. He slumped on his bed and sighed sadly, cooling his knuckles.

He turned off the music when a knock sounded on his door. "What?" Liam said out loud, annoyance hinting in his voice.

He lifted his head when the door opened and spotted Sophia walking in, his mood dropping. "What the hell are you doing here?" He asked and glared at her.

"Your- uh, Your dad let me in." The girl spoke up, and you could hear that she had been crying. She also looked like it. Her eyes were bloodshot and her cheeks were tear stained, yet Liam kept a straight face and watched her enter his room.

"I didn't ask who let you in, I asked you why you're here." He emphasized and rolled his eyes at her.

"We need to- we have to talk."

"There's nothing to talk about." The brunette said bitterly and shook his head. "You can leave."

"Liam please, it's- it's important." Sophia pleaded and frowned a little, sniffling. She was close to crying again, her make-up already ruined but she couldn't care less.

Liam wasn't up for it. After all, they were finally broken up. It happened on the same day of the beating. He was done with everyone and Sophia who ended up praising him for what he did when he walked out of the principle's office. The brunette wasn't having it and finally snapped when it was too much for him to handle, breaking up with her on the spot. He had never seen Sophia that shocked and hurt before but honestly, he couldn't care enough to even think about her feelings. He was too focused on what had happened and just wanted to get the day done and over with. So he left her standing in school and drove away.

Since then he's been ignoring her calls and texts for days because he didn't want anything to do with her. He even said it directly into her face that she was dead to him and that he didn't want her in his life but the girl just wouldn't let go. And now here she was, a crying mess.

"Whatever it is, I don't care Sophia. We're broken up. I'm not your boyfriend. You're not my responsibility anymore. Just leave me alone." Liam stood up from his bed and brushed passed her, walking up to his door. The seventeen year old could hear her mumble something under her breath but he ignored it and opened the door, noticing for her to get out.

"Liam, just listen," Sophia said and turned around, looking at her ex-boyfriend.

"I don't want to."

"But–"

"I don't want to fucking hear it, how many times do I have to say this!?" He raised his voice at her and gave her a certain look, his hands balling into fists. Sophia flinched a little at the harshness in Liam's voice but decided to keep a strong face, inhaling a shaky breath. She didn't know whether she was going to regret this or not, but she was going to risk it all now. What she said next caused the brunette to freeze in his spot and stare at her with shock written all over his face, his jaw dropped.

"Liam, I'm pregnant."
