"Liam, I can carry that by myself." Zayn rolled his eyes fondly at his fiancé as he grabbed the suitcase from him.

"The doctor strictly said no heavy objects. Your stitches need to heal." Liam told him with a stern look in his eyes, pecking his lips. After three days of having to stay in the hospital, Liam was finally able to take Zayn and Theodore home. Without the dark haired latter even knowing, the mansion was filled with a big surprise.

"But–"

"No buts." The brunet warned, chuckling when Zayn huffed. But he decided not to argue about it and just grabbed Theodore's carrier from the car, smiling softly down at the newborn baby boy. He caressed his cheek once again, closing the car door and locking it for Liam before the couple made their way to the front door.

"You know, you're lucky I love you." Zayn told Liam out of the blue, looking at him. The two were standing in front of the front door.

"Yeah? How so?" Liam chuckled, fumbling with their keys.

"Because, you're just lucky." The dark haired beauty shrugged, grinning teasingly. He fixed Theodore's blanket, making sure he's wrapped up nicely. The autumn weather this year was really different from the others.

Liam shook his head at that and unlocked the door. He pushed it open and let Zayn walk in first, following behind. The you her lad made his way towards the living room only to be taken by surprise when he saw his family and their friends there with big smiles on their faces.

"Surprise!" They all yelled excitingly, a banner with the words Welcome home Zayn and Theo! hanging above the ceiling.

"Oh my god." Zayn smiled, looking at everyone. "What are you doing here?" He asked, completely surprised to see everyone.

"Did you really think we'd miss our chances of meeting our new grandson?" Yaser scolded at his son before pulling Zayn into a gentle hug.

"No." Zayn chuckled and returned the embrace. "Just didn't expect you all so soon."

"Well we're here now." His mother hummed. "Hello darling." She greeted her youngest son with a kiss on the cheek before looking down at her new grandson. She gasped.

"Oh my god!" She cooed. "Look at you." She leaned down and unbuckled him from the carrier, picking him up slowly. "What a beautiful little boy." She said as she held him in her arms.

"You two really make som cute ass babies, wow." Nathaniel commented from the side when he saw Theodore. "Who's gonna be his godfather?" He added, grinning cheekily over at the engaged couple.

"Not you." Liam announced before Zayn could even reply.

"Oh suck it Payne." Nathaniel scoffed, rolling his eyes and crossing his arms over his chest. "I'd be a better godfather than bella would be a godmother."

"Hey!" Bella glared at him and slapped the back of his head. "I'm not as irresponsible as you are dumbass."

"Language!" Both Zayn and Liam scolded at the two, motioning towards the kids that were playing together by the carpet.

The two friends apologized but still gave each other the evil eye.

"Zendaya is going to be the godmother." Zayn then said after the two pulled themselves together. "And Toni is going to be The Godfather."

"Why them!?" Nathaniel asked, sounding extremely hurt.

"For one, Toni is my brother." Zayn pointed out, giving his best friend a certain look. "And two, Zendaya is the only close person Liam has in his life. So if anything were to happen to us, either she or Toni and Louis will get our son. Understood?"

"But that just benefits bella!" Nathaniel whined.

"But you'd still able to get to spend time with Theo." Zayn rolled his eyes at him. "We're not arguing about this." With that, the conversation was closed and Zayn carefully took Theodore back in his arms.

"Welcome to your family baby." The younger lad whispered softly into his ear and placed a gentle kiss to his forehead, Theodore nuzzling his head into zayn's neck. He smiled at that and looked over at Liam who was busy talking to Evan and Niall before their eyes met. The brunet returned the smile as he saw the two.

The family spent the entire day together, celebrating and enjoying each other's company. Things were going great. Everyone got along well and life just seemed perfect again. The wedding was only a month away and Zayn and Liam couldn't wait for the day to finally come.
