I quickly smacked his hand away and standing up terrified of what I saw in front of me.
"Celina don't" he stopped me as I was about to turn and run for my life.
"No shut up. Have you any idea what you've done to me, done to us?!" I questioned yelling at V, feeling the pain I had gone trough, I was ready to let it all out on V. I blame him for my two years of pain.
"Let me explain" he started. I started backing away from him shaking my head at him.
"There is nothing to explain" I stated harshly tears running down my cheeks for a different reason than before.
"I just saved you. Doesn't that give me at least a minute to explain myself to you?" He questioned softly with begging eyes.
I wanted to believe he was different than before. I wanted to believe he had changed. I wanted the old caring and cute V to come back. The V that would help me when things went wrong.
"Ok. You can walk with me to the hotel" I stated trying to blink the tears away. He gave me a soft smile.
V walked up to me but I kept my distance still scared of him from what we had perviously gone trough.
"A lot has happened since we saw each other" he started as we walked out of the alleyway.
"I've changed Celina" his words stung me. I wanted to believe him, but I just couldn't. He had done so many horrid things to me and the people around me.
"V I- can't" I started but wasn't able to finish.
"Please don't call me that, it brings too many bad memories" he said looking away from me. I nodded in agreement.
"What should I call you then?" I asked him seeing a different man than last time we'd meet a few years ago.
"Tae" he said and lifted his glance up to mine with a smile on his face, I smiled back not being able to not smile back.
"Maybe we should start from the day you thought you saw me die" Tae said moving his eyes on the what was in front of him, which was nothing more than an empty street.
"I was actually brought to a hospital after the boys shoot me down that day. Maybe I shouldn't say brought, more like left there by Hoseok and Suga" Tae said with a small laugh at the end of his sentence.
"They were able to revive me and I continued to live" he said like he was disappointed by that fact.
"I was still mad at that time. I joined Caine as soon as I heard he also wanted revenge. At that time I didn't know Jungkook was alive, but I knew that me and Caine had one thing in common. We both hated Jungkook" he explained. The words made me a little scared but Tae seemed so calm so I felt like I didn't have to worry.
"Celina I was crazy" he chuckled.
"I was blinded by so much and I hate myself for everything" he said as he stopped and looked at me with tearful eyes.
"I want to believe you" I said looking at him but secretly wanting to give him a tight hug or just a reassuring touch.
"I'm so sorry Celina" he said as a tear slipped his eye and ran down his cheek. I could see his pain and I wanted to take it away.
"I worked with Caine first just as a partner. After a year Caine started to believe Jungkook was alive. Strangely that made me really happy" he explained with a small smile creeping up on his lips. We continued to walk as we talked.
"Eventually Caine had gone mad like I'd done previously. I also knew it would end badly. He figured the only way to get him out of the shadows was to hurt you" he stated and looked at me with sad eyes.
"I protested immediately and he promised he wouldn't. Obviously by the look of that healing black eye he didn't keep that promise"
"After he told be he had beaten you up I immediately left him and our business behind. I had already hurt you and I didn't want to participate in doing so once again" Tae said and I knew he was speaking the truth. I now believed he had changed and he seemed to have moved on from his passed self.
We came to a stop when we reached the outside of the hotel.
"Tae I believe you've changed, and I believe you did the right thing." I explained seeing Tae light up.
"But I don't know where to go from here. Jungkook will kill you if he sees you" I said tilting my head looking at him worried.
"If I just explain it all to him, he'll understand" Tae said seemingly believing he was right.
"Tae, I don't know" I sighed.
"Give me a chance to" he said stepping closer to me and the door to the hotel building.
"I don't think this is a good idea" I let out not convinced.
"Jungkook and I have been friends for years. if I explained it all maybe he'll understand" he said before pushing the door open and walking into the hotel. My heart was already beating quicker and my nerves had already reached its high.
I walked inside the hotel seeing Tae standing by the elevator. I walked up to him and stood next to him waiting with him for the elevator.
"Let me walk in first to warn him so he doesn't go crazy ok?" I said looking up at Tae.
"Ok" he said giving me a thumps up. Tae really believed and explanation and a "sorry" would stop Jungkook from blowing his head off as soon as he saw him. We could only hope.
