Jungkook drove us almost out of town for his surprise date. After a twenty or so minute car ride we arrived outside something that looked like a amusement park of some sort.
"Well here we are" Jungkook said with a half excited but still tense look on his face from the previous events that had happened tonight night.
"Have you taken me to an amusement park?" I asked genuinely surprised by the situation.
"It's not an amusement park, it's a funfair" he explained playfully offended.
"What's the difference?" I questioned looking at him with wide smile on my face.
"There are no roller coasters here" he said disgusted.
"What's wrong with roller coasters?" I questioned laughing at him.
"I hate them" he said shaking his head. I giggled at him. I guess I had found one thing he was afraid of and it was roller coasters of all things.
"There is a Ferris wheel here though" he said suggesting something.
"You sure you're tough enough for that" I teased him. He rolled his eyes at me and opened the car door stepping out. I followed his actions and got out of the car as well. Jungkook came up behind me swinging his arms around my shoulders and pulling me into a kiss. I giggled as his lips meet mine.
I broke the kiss by asking a genuine question.
"Where are all the people?" I asked looking around at the empty place. Only workers stood in their booths waiting for their customers.
"I don't like standing in line" Jungkook explained looking ahead at where we were walking.
"Did you rent this whole thing out for a night?" I asked hoping he hadn't gone so far.
"Yes" he responded like I was the crazy one. I looked up at him and rolled my eyes baffled at the lengths he would go for a night out with me.
We made our way to one of the booths.
"Wanna try a round" be man asked.
"Sure" Jungkook said removing his arm and walked closer to the booth.
"You have to shoot all the ducks down while they move with only five bullets" the man explained. Jungkook chuckled mockingly and the man gave him a odd look. If he only knew what Jungkook did for a living.
The man turned the machine on and the ducks moved around back and forwards. Jungkook fired the gun and with each bullet one of the ducks went down. I looked at Jungkook both embarrassed and a guess a sense of being proud kind of face. After all five bullets all the five ducks were down. The man gave Jungkook a nod with an impressed face.
"That was good" he commented handing Jungkook a giant white teddy bear.
"Beginners luck" he said with a cocky smile turning away from the man and handing me the bear.
"Thank you" I laughed at him by the whole situation.
"You want some cotton candy?" Jungkook asked taking my hand and walking away from the booth.
"Of course" I laughed as Jungkook jogged towards the next booth where the cotton candy stood.
Jungkook asked for two cotton candy's one pink and one blue. I stood leaning against the booth admiring Jungkook. He really does the most to impress me and the whole world around us. He handed me the pink cotton candy.
"What if I want the blue" I suggested looking at him with a raised brow.
"Darling, I need to keep my masculinity, even when eating cotton candy" he said ending his words with a soft smile. I rolled my eyes playfully at him and walked towards a beach besides the booth.
"Did we ever get the chance to celebrate our first anniversary?" Jungkook asked sitting down besides me.
"I guess not." I said tilting my head at him.
"We were busy remember. My dad was chasing us and Tae had gone wild" I joked.
"Yes that's right" Jungkook joked back taking a bite of his cotton candy.
"So this spring does that mean we celebrate our fourth anniversary, our first or our second?" He questioned and I looked at him confused. We had been together for a year until he died but not really and then came back after two years, which means this would be our fourth year. but since he was gone for two years maybe it would be our second. Figuring out this was almost more complicated than all the other stuff happening outside of this date night.
"Let's say our second. It makes us sound younger" I joked taking the last bite of my cotton candy.
"I guess you're right" Jungkook said looking up at the ferris wheel.
"Let's go" he said standing up throwing his cotton candy away and taking my hand. He walked towards the Ferris wheel with me right behind him.
"Enjoy the ride" the man said opening the seats for us to sit in. I placed my teddy bear down besides the mans booth.
"Thank you" I said giving the man a smile. He secured us and shortly we were on our way up.
"Are you always going to thank everyone when they do something for you?" Jungkook asked referring to the man.
"Yes Jungkook. That's what normal well raised people do" I said giving him a sassy smile.
"I don't remember being raised by anyone other than you" he teased and I hit his arm playfully. He only chuckled at me. His arm went around my shoulder and I leaned my head against his shoulder. We reached the top soon and the ride stopped so we could enjoy the view and the view was really breathtaking. The whole city laid in front of us sparkling and peaceful.
"It's really beautiful up here" I said with my eyes glued at the view.
"It's yours as long as you want it to be" Jungkook said kissing the top of my head. I wanted to stop the world for a second and just spent this moment without a worry. I didn't know if I or Jungkook would be here tomorrow and I didn't know if this was ever going to happen again. Just us two enjoying a moment together.
