Flashback Mystic Falls, 1864
Katherine was giggling in bed because Damon was tickling her.
Katherine: What are you dong? Stop it.
Damon: Make me.
She put on her vampire face and got on top of him. Damon looked scared at first but then cupped her cheek with his hand. Katherine smiled. There was a knock on the door.
Katherine: Yes? Katherine looked at the door and Emily walked in.
Emily: Excuse me Miss Katherine. Miss Pearl is here to see you.
Katherine: I'll be down soon. Please ask her to wait. Thank you.Emily.  She said looking back towards Damon. Emily then left the room.
Katherine: Fun's over.
Damon: Aw, no.
Damon pulled her in for a kiss. Katherine then got dressed and went down to talk to Pearl.
Katherine: Nice to see you, Pearl.
Pearl: May we talk outside?
Katherine: Emily, could you please tell Mr. Salvatore that I've stepped away? She said talking to Emily.
Emily:Which one?
Katherine:Both. Pearl and Katherine walked to the garden.
Pearl: How long do you plan on staying here with the Salvatore's?  People talk Katherine, you carrying on with both brothers doesn't help the situation.
Katherine: The Salvatore's have been kind to take me in. As far as everyone here know I'm a poor orphan girl from Atlanta who lost her family in a fire.
Pearl: And let you live no doubt. Honey, please be careful. She said talking to her daughter.
Pearl: Honorary Fell came by the apothecary yesterday with a case of this elixir. She asked that it be sold at a reduced rate.
Katherine: I don't follow.
Pearl:Try it. Katherine opened it and poured it into her hand it burned her.
Katherine: What the hell?
Pearl: Vervain.
Katherine: Why was there... They know.
Pearl: They're trying to find us and they're getting crafty about it.
Katherine: The townspeople ingesting vervain, well that's inconvient.
Pearl: It might be time for us to move on again.
Katherine:No. I like it here. I'm not interested in leaving just yet.
Pearl's Daughter: Can we go mama? Is something wrong?
Present Day

Bailey's P.O.V

I was at Elena's house looking for the journal. But we couldn't find it.
Me: Okay, seriously where is this journal? I then heard footsteps and I looked up to see Jeremy walk in.
Jeremy: The Johnathan Gilbert journal?
Elena: Yeah. What do you know about it?
Jeremy: I recently did a history report on it.
Elena: Where is it?
Jeremy: I gave it to Mr. Saltzman. He wanted to see it.
Flashback
Pearl: The sheriff was here earlier, he bought the large volumes of the vervain elixir.
Katherine: Did he try and put his hands on you again?
Pearl: Doesn't he always?
Katherine: She's saving herself for Johnathan Gilbert.
Pearl: I'm beyond saving. We know that.
Damon: How can you be so calm? They're getting closer to you everyday.
Katherine: We're the respectable ladies of Mystic Falls. Thanks to Emily we walk the streets in daylight. No one will ever suspect us.
Pearl: Unless a human tells them.
 Damon: I'd sooner die.
Katherine: And soon enough, you will.
Pearl: What about the girl? She knows.
Damon: Bailey wouldn't do that.
Pearl: How do you know?
Damon: Because I know my sister and she would never take away someone's happiness. Especially mine and Stefan's.
Annabel: Mrs. Fell is approaching.
Pearl: Thank you Annabel.
