Now it's time to see what Mitsu's up to. And let's see what Add does. And let's see what (y/n) does too! And...I'm just going to start the chapter now...

Add didn't see this coming. He didn't understand enough about how (y/n)'s power worked for him to have prevented the cat's escape of sorts. The mysterious cat literally chewed its way out of its energy prison and scampered off with (y/n) chasing after it. Add was out of range to be able to use the same trick from earlier so of course he had to go after the now very annoying cat as well.

"Mitsu! Come back here! I command you to return to my consciousness!" (y/n) shouted after the eerily fast cat that only seemed to be a blurry shadow zooming across the ground. Add only sighed. (Y/n) was letting her frustration get to her and she now failed to realized that she could simply say "stop" and the cat would have no choice but to stop.
Add didn't care though. He would catch the cat if he had no other choice but for now he would just let (y/n) handle the whole ordeal. It was her cat after all and it was somewhat amusing for Add to see (y/n) fly after the black speeding blur. It was also another chance for him to gather more data on the girl's wings.

Even after so much time, he still hadn't entirely figured them out. Whenever he thought he knew everything, something new would happen such as that one time (y/n)'s wings both glowed with silver light rather than being two separate colors. He remembered the day quite well since it was the very first time he'd gone on a mission with (y/n).

She had two years of experience and had never been allowed outside of the library so she had been overly excited for the simple mission. Unfortunately, it had gone terribly wrong. All they had to do was travel to a nearby village that was only a day's time away. Add knew it wouldn't be a problem for him since he could only be away from the library for a week before he'd die.

"So we're just going to go there, buy a few things, and then come back...but that sounds boring," (y/n) said complained despite her eagerness to leave.

"There's a reason behind everything we do. You don't get it but it's not like it matters," Add told her with a sigh.

"Oh we should have cool code names! Mine can be Silver and yours...yours...I don't know," she said as though not hearing a thing Add said.

"We will not have code names. Where did you get such a ridiculous idea anyway? You know what, I don't want to know. We're wasting time here so let's go," Add spoke. He used his dynamos to leave the library with (y/n) flying to follow.

"Oh I know! I can call you Arc Tracer!" (y/n) said once they were outside the library. (Y/n) was obviously ignoring his comment about the code names. If she didn't possess mysterious magical ability that he wanted to study, he would have gotten rid of her a long time ago. Or at least he'd like to think so.

"I said no code names," he muttered as he scanned the trees for any unfortunate travelers. "Come on let's go." (Y/n) hadn't moved an inch. All of the excitement suddenly drained from her and she looked at him with emotionless an expression.

"We're going that way?" she asked with just as much emotion. It was a direct contrast to her enthusiasm just seconds ago.

"Yes. Is there a problem?" Add said as he smirked at her sudden reaction. She simply shook her head at him and began to follow. He had learned that she would go into a sort of shut down mode whenever something she didn't like was happening. They had gotten to their destination without any problems that night. The guards hadn't noticed their presence thanks to (y/n)'s cloaking ability so they stayed in an abandoned building closest to the village exit.
