Yeah I got nothin....
____________________________________When he woke up, he was a little confused as to why he was in (y/n)'s room. Then he also noticed that he was hugging her and that she was peacefully sleeping against his chest. He had no time to question this because the memory of the awful dream he'd had came back to him. He then remembered what he'd done the night before and no longer had any questions. (Y/n) was safe and sound, and that was all that mattered to him at the moment.
If he were under different circumstances, he would have woken (y/n) right out of her sleep and gone to work in his lab right away. She would always protest since she reasoned that she shouldn't have to wake up just because he was awake. Now all he wanted was for (y/n) to sleep so that he could watch over her and make sure that nothing happened to her. Seeing the only person he cared about die in front of him was not something he could easily forget.
Over the past years, (y/n) had become increasingly important to him as each day went by. She pretty much took care of him when he neglected to take care of himself after long hours of research or labwork. If he were to lose her for any reason, he just might go crazy.
(Y/n) began to stir in her sleep, and Add was afraid that she'd wake up but (y/n) simply got closer to him and continued sleeping. Add knew that he couldn't keep her there all day because there were things that he now had to do such as setting traps and strengthening the library's defense so that not even Mari could make it past it. The most important thing though was looking after (y/n) because now he refused to let her leave the library unless it was absolutely necessary.
"(Y/n)," he called but she didn't move and stayed right where she was. (Y/n) was a heavy sleeper anyways so it would take a lot more than calling her name to wake her up. Add just decided to take her with him since he didn't want her waking up anyway. She was already laying on one of his arms so he just lifted her up and put her arms around his neck.
In response to his movement, (y/n) simply buried her face into the crook of his neck. He felt a chill shoot through him in response to the action. He refrained from ruffling her hair as he often would have. For a moment, he was immobilized by the odd affect (y/n) was having on him. He wasn't used to her being so close to him, and he felt even more obligated to keep her safe.
When Add had gotten over it, he went to the lab where he'd left his dynamos the other night. He had planned on leaving (y/n) to sleep while he continued to work without her even knowing. If she had known, she would have probably scolded him. Or maybe not since she did scare him a bit too much...twice. The second time wasn't necessarily her fault though.
Once Add had gotten his dynamos, he went over to the other study room that he and (y/n) had turned into a kitchen of sorts. He had no idea how he was going to make breakfast while carrying her at the same time, but he surely would try. He decided that the best thing to do was to sit her in a chair while he cooked no matter how reluctant he was to avert his attention from her, but before he could do anything more, (y/n) woke up.
She let out small yawn and arose from him, but he had to pull her back to him so she wouldn't fall. He found himself looking her right in the eyes when they'd caught their balance.
"Morning already? Where are we anyway?" she asked. Add was surprised that she didn't ask why he was carrying her.
"Wait a second...why are you carrying me and why am I not in my room?" she questioned. Well, so much for her not saying anything.
"Would you calm down. I didn't want to wake you up, so I brought you with me," he said to her.
"You were in my room? Oh wait, you were weren't you...are you okay?" She tried to get down, but he wouldn't let her. Since he wouldn't put her down, (y/n) put on of her hands to his cheek and turned his face so that she could look into his eyes. "Are you sure?" she asked.
"I'm okay, (y/n). I promise you that. Now go back to sleep," he said as a rose color surfaced on his face. He decided that breakfast could wait since he usually skipped it anyway, but he would make sure (y/n) ate something eventually.
"Then you can put me down? I can walk back to my room on my own now," she said.
"No, you can't, and I'm not putting you down. Now go back to sleep," Add said. He already knew she would protest until she finally fell back to sleep but he didn't expect her to ask questions about anything else.
"Add, what happened? What did Mari show you?" she asked as she leaned her head on his shoulder.
"Don't worry about it. All you need to know is that I have everything under control," he said.
"Stop doing that. You were crying and I've never seen you cry before. You need to tell me what happened," she pleaded. Part of his mind told him to tell her but the other part told him to make sure she didn't know.
"I don't have to tell you anything that I don't want you to know. You learned that a long time ago," he said. He didn't mean to be harsh, but he didn't want her to know exactly what happened or else she might end up like him, stressed and sleep deprived. There was silence and Add knew that (y/n) was about to say something possibly hurtful in response.
"I died...didn't I? You had a nightmare where Mari and I fought...but I died," she whispered. Add froze and looked at (y/n).
"How did you...?" he asked as he started to let her down so that she now stood in front of him.
"I thought about it for a bit. You aren't afraid of me but you are afraid of what might happen to me. That's what scares you. I figured that out when you came to my room," (y/n) said. Then she hugged him.
"Don't worry, Add. Everything will be okay," she said, but this did not reassure him because those were the same words that she had said as she died in his arms in the nightmare that he'd had. He couldn't take the torture and irony in those words. Add hugged (y/n) back and silently shed tears into her hair hoping that she wouldn't notice.
