Keeping Him Sane (An Add x Reader Story)

        Add simply glared at Elesis. He wasn't too pleased with her archer trying to harm (y/n). He didn't want any confrontation even though he had no doubt that he could take them all down easily.

        "My name is Add and this is (y/n). We've caused no disturbances in the forest of Elder. Even if we did, you have no evidence to incriminate us, so there's nothing you can do," Add said. "Let's go, (y/n)."

        (Y/n) nodded and the two of them turned away from the El Search Party. "Hold it right there! We can't simply let you go just because you say that our accusations are wrong. We have the right to investigate you. There is still no explaination for the aura of energy that seems to be radiating from one of you," Elesis spoke. Add and (y/n) turned to face the El search Party once again only to find weapons pointed at them. There was a good bit of distance between them, so the only real threats were the long range attackers.

        "I don't know if you noticed but we don't mind using force, so if you could come with us peacefully, no one will get hurt," Elesis calmly said.

        "I've already made myself clear. We've done no wrong so we're leaving," Add said.

        Elesis sighed and closed her eyes. "Have it your way then," she muttered. (Y/n) tensed up beside him. Add could tell that she wasn't sure what to do since he'd told her not to use any of her abilities. He also knew that she knew the routines that they'd done whenever they went on mission together.

        "Everyone, you know what to do. Just don't use lethal force," Elesis instructed. Just like that, the El Search Party charged at them in an attempt to capture them. Add just stood there and watched hoping that (y/n) would understand. The El Search Party surrounded them and would have harmed them if (y/n) hadn't taken action. She stood with her back now pressed against Add's and summoned her double sided scythe. One side of it in front of Add, the other side in front of her, both acting as shields. Then Add's dynamos crackled with electricity and began to circle the two of them. The El Search Party stopped in their tracks and he smirked.

        "What's wrong? Surprised that we decided to defend ourselves?" Add inquired. He found it amusing for them to imoly that they could defeat a diety and a scientific genius.

        "Where did you just pull that from?! Your pockets aren't even big enough for that scythe!" Elsword said earning himself another smack across the back of his head. Elesis took a step back.

        "So it's you. You're the one with the dangerous aura," she said. The rest of the team took caution as well.

      "Dangerous? No. Deadly at times? Yes. You hurt us and you'll regret the day you were born," (y/n) said.

        "You still haven't been proven innocent. If anything, you just proved yourself guilty. We can't let you just walk away from us," Elesis reasoned.

        "Well how about this. Since you're being so stubborn, we'll go with you. You seem to be fustrsted since you haven't been able to find the true culprit in days right? When you realize that we're innocent, we will go on our way and you can figure out how to make up for your lost time," Add said. (Y/n) unsummoned her weapon but kept her guard up.

        "It seems that you aren't the culprits but you are very perceptive. I apologize for not believing you the first time. If you don't mind though, we could use your perceptiveness and her strong aura to track down our culprit. I understand if you don't want to help," Elesis said. The El Search Party erupted into complaints.

        "We start off as enemies and now you want us to become allies? What do you say Add?" (y/n) said. She looked back at him, a glimmer of happiness in her eyes.

        Add shrugged. "I don't see why not, but if you every decide to harm either of us, there's a good chance that I'll kill you without a second thought about it," Add said.

        "Then it's settled. You'll come with us. Welcome to the El Search Party," Elesis said as she extending a hand for Add to shake.

        "Wait what?!?" everyone except Elesis said. "That's not what we just agreed on!"

        From that day onward, Add and (y/n) lived with the El Search Party. They lived a usually happy life from there on out. Well, Add was a little overprotective of (y/n) the entire time, but she just thought it was halarious.

Sorry that the chapter ended so soon. My mind died in idea land and I had to return to reality so yeah...there's the After You Read chapter coming up next. You don't have to read it though.
