I realize that I have a lot of errors in my previous chapters but Wolf-chan is a little lazy so I will finish the book first and go back to the other chapters so that you guys don't have to wait on me to edit. Anyways, on to the chapter!

"What do you mean I still can't go anywhere? You said that if nothing happened after a month, I could go on missions again! Now you won't even let me go outside! You're supposed to keep your word, Add," (y/n) complained. She had been itching to see the sky from the top of a tree once more, or smell the fresh scent of a village's cooking while on a mission.

Add had been worried that she'd be ambushed by Mari and refused to let her leave the library ever since he had the nightmare that she'd died. "I know what I said, but you're just going to have to wait a little longer. After a month means any time I decide to let you leave after that month is over. It doesn't mean you can leave as soon as the last hour of the month has passed," Add replied. His stupid logic was confusing her and she didn't feel like arguing with him for the third time that day, so she sighed and walked out of the lab. "Don't try anything stupid," Add called after her before she slammed the door. She had of course tried to leave the library without Add's permission before but he had caught her each time.

"Mitsu, what are my chances of escape this time?" (y/n) asked, determined to at least sit in a tree just outside of the library.

"I wouldn't recommend you going against Add's orders, nya," Mitsu said.

"He isn't the boss of me. Just tell me my chances," (y/n) replied as she came to a stop at the fifth floor's edge.

"But don't you remember what keeps happening every time he catches you? You always end up with hurt feelings, and I'm sure that you don't like that, nya," Mitsu said in protest.

"Mitsu," (y/n) said in a warning tone. She didn't want to ne reminded of the reoccurring quarreling that she and Add went through every time he stopped her from going outside.

"Alright fine. He's already expecting you to leave anyway so that's already 50% gone there, nya. There are also sensors at the library's entrance now so that's 15% less of a chance. Nya, Add is also pretty fast and there's a radar in his lab that lets him know if someone or something is outside. All of that is 40% less, nya. I'd say you have a -5% chance of getting out of here without Add catching you, nya," Mitsu said.

(Y/n) shrugged and her wings appeared."It's worth a try."

Mitsu sighed and appeared in her cat form by her side. "You want me to stall him again don't you. I keep forgetting that you don't register danger very well, nya," Mitsu commented.

"Yes I want you to...wait what's that supposed to mean? Did Add tell you that?!" (y/n) said as she looked down to the cat who was licking her paws as though nothing happened. She decided to adress Mitsu's comment later and made a mental note to not let Mitsu spend any more time with Add.

"Good luck I guess, nya. You most definitely need it," Mitsu said with a yawn.

"Shut up, cat," (y/n) said as she took off and headed up towards the exit of the library at her top speed. She emerged into the fresh evening air quicker than she expected. The cool summer breeze was quite refreshing as she spiralled in the sky before coming to a stop to scout out the perfect tree. It took only a matter of seconds to choose one and she headed towards it. The wind blowing through her hair felt wonderful and she laughed in delight of it.

"Almost there," she quietly said to herself. Just before she could even reach the forest's treeline, she was suddenly brought down by electrical shock that paralyzed her. Her wings disappeared, and she fell towards the ground that was only a few feet away since she had been flying so close to it. She crashed, earning herself a few scrapes. Soon after falling, (y/n) saw Add coming near her on his dynamos.

"It's a new invention of mine. You were too busy worrying about escaping that you didn't notice that the library's defense systems were turned on. I made sure not to use lethal force so you should be able to move in about five minutes," Add said as he stepped off of his dynamos and picked her up. (Y/n) found herself unable to voice her thoughts, most likely from whatever she had been hit with. "Why didn't you listen to me when I told you not to try anything stupid?" he muttered as he took her back inside of the library.

"I just wanted to see the stars. All I wanted to do was see them," (y/n) thought. Add had never gone so far as to harm her in any way. Every time he'd caught her leaving, the most he would do was grab her by the arm to keep her from flying off and pulled back to the library with him.

Shocked and a little frightened by Add's actions, (y/n) started to cry which caused Add to stop. He looked her in the eyes, her fear stained irises against his worried and heart broken ones.

"(Y/n), listen. I didn't mean to hurt you okay. I'm doing this for your own good. I can't let anything happen to you," he said in an attempt to comfort her, but it didn't work. The damage was already done. A sudden gust of wind blew by them and the sounds of nature soon caught his attention. Add's eyes widened in realization.

"So that's why," he said as he sat down in the grass. "Why didn't you tell me, you idiot." Add hugged her to him and allowed her to enjoy the summer breezes. (Y/n) still cried, but at least now she knew that Add realized what it was that she wanted to do so badly. "Next time, I'm going to put a tracker on you if you try escaping again," Add joked. He then ruffled her hair as he always did. Add was turned away from her so she couldn't see his face, but (y/n) could tell that he held great remorse for his overreaction.
