It was 11:30 and there was only half an hour of partying left. I sat on the edge of the stage with a drink on my left. I watched as people danced and laughed together.
I watched as Alex spun his new girlfriend around. They were perfect together! They danced to the music and Alex said something that made Kaci laugh. I can’t believe that he waited this long to ask Kaci out. Why couldn’t he just ask her out sooner? Boys! Unbelievable.
Kassandra came and sat down next to me,
“Hey.” I said.
She said hey back and we looked at the dancers together.
“You were great on stage tonight.” She complimented.
“Thanks.” I replied.
Tessa sat down on the other side of me and put an arm around my shoulders.
“Well. What. A. Night.” She said slowly.
I laughed. She raised an eyebrow quizzically and I smiled at her. She was right though. It was a fantastic night.
“Oh and you were good too.” She added.
I put on a sarcastic face.
“Oh, gee, thanks Tessa I didn’t realize I actually had a part in tonight.”
“You’re welcome!” she replied.
Tessa really could get on your nerves easily. We laughed together.
“Um, Kassandra I think it’s time we scuttle away awkwardly.” Tessa suggested.
I looked up and saw who was standing there.
“Oh.” Kassie muttered.
They stood up and walked away awkwardly.
“Um, so, hey.” He said awkwardly.
“Hey.” I said back. Not as awkwardly.
“I wanted to,”
“Talk about what happened yesterday.” I finished for him.
He rubbed the back off his neck and sat next to me.
“It was nothing I just.” “It was fine it meant nothing.” We both talked at the same time.
“You first.” I said blushing.
“Well, I. I didn’t mean for that to mean anything it was just a spark of the moment.” He admitted.
“What?” I asked confused.
“I don’t want you to get the wrong idea.” He explained.
“So you’re saying what exactly?”
“The kiss was a spur of the moment.”
“A spur of the moment?!”
“Yeah.”
“You jerk!” I blurted standing up suddenly.
I was taken aback. He kissed me.
“So you’re saying that you kissed me because, what?” I still didn’t get it.
“You kissed me!” he replied.
I threw my drink at him. What a jerk! So he was basically saying that he doesn’t like me just kissed me for the sake of it! I can’t believe him! People stared as I walked away from the biggest jerk in the world! I kicked the doors open and gulped in the fresh air. I raked my hands through my hair.
“Gwen?”
“What!” I shouted. “What now!”
“I only came out here to see if you were OK!” it was Janet.
“Oh Janet, I’m sorry I’m just a little um hot headed now.”
“Yeah you seem pretty pissed.”
“You saw what I did in there didn’t you?”
“Oh yes! It was pretty hard to miss.”
“It wasn’t that big!”
“You threw a drink at a guy!” she blurted.
I plopped on the curb and put my head in my hands. A tear rolled down my cheek. Janet sat next to me.
“It’s OK.” She reassured.
“I thought, I thought he.” I spluttered.
I was crying now. She patted my back. The music grew louder as someone came outside.
“Gwen. I’m sorry I just.” It was Nathan!
How dare he! I looked at him extremely angrily. Who did he think he was to come out here and apologize!
“You jerk! How dare you! Get away from me!” I screamed standing up and pushing him away.
“Nathan I think it’s best if you go back inside and stay away from her!” Janet advised.
Nathan darted back inside and I collapsed on the curb again.
“Guys are total assholes.” I insulted.
“You’re getting that now?” she replied making me laugh.
Okay this chapter is a little sad because there's no more Nawen! Besides the guy in real life doesn't actually like me. It's sad really. But he's a total git in real life. But there is Kalex! (The guy won't actually ask the girl out in real life so I'm doing it in here!) Sorry!!! She knows who she is! Keep reading/voting!
