Patton~ Birthday Wish

It was your birthday today. You knew that Thomas wanted you at his house immediately. Rather Patton wanted you over because he heard word your birthday was today through Thomas, Joan, and Talyn. He asked them if he could tag along with your birthday adventure today. Thomas and Joan planned a large adventure due to them finding a new dessert parlor. While the rest were waiting on you to come over, Patton was giddy and watching for you to show up.

You got into your car with your f/c sundress and white flats. You were excited since Thomas said that he had a day planned with you, Joan, Talyn, and Patton. Apparently Patton wanted to come along so you were going to get a lot of "twin" references but you didn't know his real reason. As you pulled into Thomas's drive and making sure not to park right behind Thomas's car, Patton ran outside and picked you up. He spun you around in a bear hug. He smelled almost of vanilla and musk.

"Y/N! Happy birthday!" He yelled as you blushed. You could see Thomas sending you a knowing look. You rolled your eyes before Patton sat you on the ground.

"Y/n! Happy birthday!" Joan yelled as Talyn said it quieter. You smiled and hugged them both before Thomas wrapped his arms from behind.

"Missing someone?" Thomas said as you laughed and hugged him. "Happy birthday! Are you ready for your birthday adventure?"

You nodded your head as Thomas got into the driver's seat and you were made to sit in the passenger's seat. You missed Patton pouting over you hugging Thomas but Joan and Talyn didn't. They smirked to each other knowing that Patton was going to get questions. So while you were talking to Thomas, Joan and Talyn began to question Patton.

"Do you like her?" Joan asked quietly.

"Who?" Patton said while hiding his face in his sweater. Pink started to spread to his cheeks.

"The queen of England. No, Y/n!" Talyn said sarcastically. Patton blushed so much that his sweater wasn't hiding it. He was trying to come up with a joke before the car stopped.

"Hey guys, we're at our first spot." Thomas said as he was at your favorite restaurant for lunch. You smiled and hopped out of the car with Patton walking beside you. His heart was thumping wildly against his chest but he knew he had to hide that. Suddenly, you felt a soft yet large hand hold yours. You looked down and you were holding hands with Patton. You managed to hide your blush but you brushed it off. Patton only thinks of you as a friend right?

"Table for five. We have a birthday here." Thomas said as the waiter grinned and took you guys to a table near windows. It was really bright in Florida. Luckily the rain held off for today. You sat down between Thomas and Patton. As you guys ordered drinks and your food, Thomas was acting silly with Joan. You and Talyn rolled your eyes as Patton walked away. You were slightly confused until the waiting staff came out singing Happy Birthday to you. You blushed and saw Patton with a cheeky grin watching you guys.

"Now for the lovely couple." One of the waiters said to you while pointing at you and Patton but then pointed at you and Thomas. "Which one?"

"Neither! We're good friends. They're the couple!" You said while pointing at Talyn and Joan. The waiter laughed and walked away and returned with your food. You missed the hurt in Patton's eyes believing that you didn't see him as relationship material. You guys ate and laughed as Patton's leg kept brushing yours. Your heart sped up as it kept brushing your leg.

Once you guys finished your food, Thomas took you guys to the park where you guys played outdoor games and made "Storytime" videos. You guys laughed and had fun before it began to reach about 4 p.m. Once Thomas realized it, he made you guys return to the car to go eat at the new dessert parlor. You thought Thomas was joking but when you walked in, it smelled of freshly baked cookies, cakes, fresh ice cream, and candy. You couldn't believe Thomas brought you here. Little did you know, it was all Patton's idea. He went out and went to find a place to have dessert with you.

The others went to sit down on the stools as Patton pulled you to a mini booth and that he would get you your favorite cupcake. You knew you could trust Patton because he would always eat sweets with you. As he returned, it was a chocolate cupcake with a red candle of your age. You blushed and sat it down while Thomas, Joan, and Talyn stood to the side to sing you Happy Birthday. You listened to their silly yet good singing and closed your eyes to make a wish. As you made your wish, you blew out the candle and everyone cheered as Patton slid over a bag. He had bought all of your favorite candies.

"Patton, you shouldn't have." You gasped as he blushed and looked at the table.

"Well Y/n, I've liked you for a while. I love you so much and I wanted your birthday to be special." Patton said as you blushed. He leaned across the table and kissed your lips softly before backing up blushing. You both shared the same color and Thomas giggled at you guys.

"I'm glad you like me. I was afraid you wouldn't like me." You said as he smiled and pecked your lips before a slow song began to play on the radio in the dessert parlor.

You guys danced around the parlor as Joan and Talyn began to dance silly. You guys laughed but your head was leaned against his chest.

"I love you." Patton said as you looked up and kissed his lips. This was the best birthday you could ever had and you got your wish in the end. A handsome boyfriend who will care for you till the end.
