Virgil~ What Love Can Do To You?

Thomas brought you over to his house since you were his new friend. He wanted you to meet his personalities and do a questionnaire with them as a video. You arrived at his apartment and you heard yelling and groaning from behind the door. A guy dressed with a sweater came running to you guys and hid behind Thomas as another guy in black with a tie was glaring at him. Both looked exactly like Thomas.

"Thomas! Logan is going to kill me!" The one with the sweater yelled. You giggled quietly as those two looked at you in surprise.

"Who is this son?" said the one in the sweater.

"I'm not your son. This is Y/n. Can you get the others Patton?" Thomas asked as you waved at them. You smiled as Logan nodded to you and Patton gave you a hug before running up the stairs. A princely guy came down the stairs and ran over to you and kissed you hand.

"Hello I'm Roman." He introduced as you giggled.

"I'm Y/n." You said as you noticed a guy in all black with a hoodie on looking at you shocked. His face was a tint of pink but he shook his head. He walked over to you and held out his hand which you took.

"I'm Virgil." He said softly as you smiled at him. You didn't see the others looking surprised.

"You know who I am." You said as he chuckled. Roman gasped as Patton awed off to the side.

"Shut it Princey." Virgil growled as Roman held his hands up. "You two Patton."

"Now that you have met the others, would you like a drink before we begin the video?" Thomas asked as you nodded your head.

"I can go get it for her." Virgil said as he looked over at you.

"Coke is fine." You said as he nodded his head and walked out. Logan followed him but the others stood in shock.

Virgil's POV

When that girl walked in, I couldn't treat her like the others. I just want her. I want to protect her. I want her to make me happy. I want happiness. I think I'm falling for her. These thoughts were fast in my mind as I opened the fridge. I heard footsteps and I jumped.

"You know I thought I was the one to sneak up Smarty Pants." I growled as Logan as he narrowed his eyes.

"Why are you nice to her?" Logan questioned as I grumbled.

"Why do you want to know?" I snapped as his hands held up.

"I'm just confused. I don't like being confused." Logan said as I sighed. Logan was the only one I could trust other than Thomas at some points.

"Look, don't tell her but I think I'm falling for her." I said in defeat as Logan smiled softly. I narrowed my eyes. "What?"

"I knew it. When you walked down, you were blushing once you saw her." Logan stated as I felt my heart quicken.

"Shut it Mr. Encyclopedia." I snapped before walking out with Y/n's soda.

Back to regular POV

You went to sit down on the couch with the others when Virgil came back in and pushed Roman away from you before sitting beside you. He handed you your coke.

"Thank you." You said happily before opening it and taking a sip. Thomas had a knowing smirk on his face as Virgil glared at him.

"I guess we should begin the video soon?" Logan suggested as Thomas nodded his head.

"The questions have been coming in all day especially when I said Y/n would be in my video today." Thomas stated as Patton looked confused.

"Has she normally been in your videos?" Patton asked as you nodded your head. As you were about to explain, Thomas went to go grab his camera. Thomas came back down as you helped him set up. Virgil was glaring from behind at Thomas and went to sit in his corner. Logan smirked as the others continued to look confused. The video was getting ready to begin as Thomas began his intro.

The Video

"What is up everybody! You remember Y/n? She is here today to answer some questions along with my personalities!" Thomas announced. The questions went around before it made it to you.

"Well I would say-"

"It's Virgil!" Roman announced as you glared at him.

"I was going to get back to that." You said as Virgil huffed.

"Why does it seem like I'm nice to her? I'm not nice to anyone." Virgil snapped. You flinched as Thomas wrapped an arm around you.

"Then why do you offer to get her drinks or say her name nicer than the rest of us." Thomas said as he pulled you close to him. You didn't understand why.

"Don't make me come through this side and break the fourth wall. Get your hands off her. I don't act that way." Virgil grumbled as Thomas moved on.

"If you say anything but around her face, I will come through." Virgil growled as Patton yelped.

"I was going to say her laugh. I think she has a pretty laugh especially when Thomas is acting goofy." Patton said as Virgil huffed. Your eyes widened as your heart skipped a beat.

"Well I would say-" Virgil clears his throat. "I do find her pretty but I think someone else is after her."

"I wonder who that could be?" Logan said loudly as Virgil growled.

"Shut it Mr. Encyclopedia." Virgil growled.

"Nope. I never said who I meant." Logan said as Virgil growled.

"Moving on..." Thomas said. "One for Virgil then we'll have one last one for Y/n."

"I act aggressive because I want my heart to stay guarded. I don't feel like trying to open up. People hurt each other. That's humanity." He said softly.

"Then why not Y/n?" Patton questioned gently.

"Because she broke my walls." He said before realizing he said it. "Now she thinks I'm an idiot."

Virgil left the video fast as you tried to reach for him but he already left. Your heart ached for him but you managed to look up at Thomas. You nodded your head.

"I would date Virgil. He has been really nice to me and I like him back. I just wish he stayed around to hear that." You sighed as Thomas ended off the video and you put on a fake smile. As the video ended, you sat down and sighed. Logan came over and patted your shoulder before pushing you up the stairs.

You walked up the stairs and managed to find Virgil's room. Virgil was curled up on his bed with his hood up. You could hear loud rock music playing in his ears. You walked over slowly before grabbing his earbuds and taking them off. He was opening his mouth to say something but stayed quiet.

"Hey Virgil. You left?" You said as he kept his eyes on the bed. You reached over and held his callused hands before hugging him. His musky and peppermint smell flew into your nose.

"Why are you here Y/n?" He asked softly almost broken.

"I'm here because I realized my heart fell for you." He looked up at you. "I realized it when you acted like you were protecting me."

"Well Y/n I love you. I fell for you and I didn't know what to think." Virgil said as you blushed. He looked into your eyes as his chocolate brown eyes met your bright e/c eyes and he leaned in. You leaned forward and kissed his lips softly. He kissed back like he was afraid to let go. But you had to breath so you both backed up but he continued to hold you.

"Y/n may I ask to take you on a date tonight?" Virgil said. You nodded your head as he hugged you tighter like a doll. You didn't notice Roman, Logan, Patton, and Thomas watching out the door. They decided to leave you two together as you finally made Virgil happy in the end.
