A/N: I'm attempting the reader as a child and neko. Please tell me how I accomplished a neko reader because this is the first time I've wrote one.

Your parents did not like you. They hated your h/c ears and tail. They ended up hitting you and pulling your tail. They finally had enough when you hissed at them. By accident of course. You were only five. They called you stupid for doing so and dropped you off at a random door.

"Let them deal with you brat." Your father snapped as your mother spitted at you. You ended up crying and sobbing on the porch.

Roman's POV

I was watching Mulan with Thomas and Logan while Patton got popcorn. I paused the movie for a second before I heard sobbing. It sounded young.

"Where are you going Roman?" Logan asked as I held my hand up.

"I hear crying. I'm going to the porch." I said as Logan and Thomas nodded their heads. I walked over to our large brown door and opened it. On our porch sitting there was a little girl with h/c ears, hair, and tail. She was wearing torn jean shorts and a white tshirt that was covered in dirt. She was sobbing into her hands.

"Excuse me?" I questioned as she got up quickly.

"I'm sorry! My parents left me here because I was born as a neko. I'm only five. Can I please stay here?" She begged as I called for Thomas. He walked over and awed at her before Logan followed.

"Her parents left her." I said as Thomas frowned.

"Then she can stay with us." I hear Logan say as I turned to him shocked. "What? I'm not heartless!"

Once we got her inside, She stayed behind me every step of the way. We finally got her over to the couch.

"What's your name?" Logan asked as she turned to her feet.

"I'm Y/n." She said as I smiled down at her. She seemed to get frightened when Virgil came in.

"Who's this?" Virgil questioned. She jumped.

"Virgil this is Y/n. Her parents left her." I said while holding a glare. He rolled his eyes and took off his jacket before wrapping it around her small frame. She nuzzled into the jacket.

"I'm not heartless either. She was cold." Virgil growled as he went upstairs. I knew we had to do something.

"Who's this cutie?" Patton asked as she giggled at him.

"Patton this is Y/n." Thomas said as Patton sat beside her and began to do different hand shakes and games. She enjoyed it but she still stayed attached to my hip. I realized I'm probably the first person before the rest to show her love. She continued to giggle as I got up. She began to panic.

"Its okay. I'm going to get you a glass of water. Are you hungry?" I asked as she nodded her head. "How about you stay with Patton and I go make you a PB& J sandwich?"

She stayed with Patton as I began to make her food. I heard footsteps and I turned to see Logan.

"You do realize she sees us as a family?" Logan asked as I rolled my eyes.

"I knew that. Why do you think she wouldn't want to leave me?" I asked before grabbing water and the sandwich.

"Because she sees you as her father." Logan said as I sighed. I walked into the room and she was still playing with Patton.

"Here's your food." I said as her eyes lit up and she sat down to eat. Patton, Thomas, Logan, and myself were watching her gobble down the food quickly. "Little Y/n, slow down."

She looked up at me and I noticed her e/c eyes shimmering and I finally took notice of her body and that I could see her ribs.

"You haven't been fed in a while?" I asked as she nodded her head and her ears twitched. After she finished eating, I pulled her to my room to go lay down. As she laid down on the pallet, I placed a hand softly on her back. Her tail swished before she calmly went to sleep. As I tried to leave, she hung onto me as if she thought I was a dream.

"It's okay little one." I said as she whimpered and opened her eyes. "No one is going to hurt you anymore."

"I'm scared." She whimpered. Her ears twitched and she looked away from me as if she was afraid I would hurt her.

"Y/n it's okay child. I will scare away those monsters now get some rest." I said as she curled up and went to sleep. I bent down and kissed her forehead. "And I promise that the rest of us will be your actual family now. We will protect you."

I watched her in deep sleep as the others dropped by. They awed at her and nodded their heads when I "shhd" them. As it started to get late, I pulled under the covers as she continued to sleep on a pallet I made her. One day she won't be afraid to go around and not afraid of new people. We'll just have to guide her out.
